A vote will be happening this Spring and the Winton Woods superintendent has been assured by the superintendents of the member schools that WW will have the votes.

Uh cant imagine why SWOC would take in another school who only cares about mens basketball and football and doesn't field teams in the minor sports, especially at the JV level. I guess we will see.

If they can find a coach who can build and maintain a culture and climate within the building they will be wildly successful. It's a big decision for them right now because I believe they are at a turning point, the direction that they turn probably will be solely on who they hire to pick up the reigns and continue on.
Uh, dude I have a little reality check for you. Drugs are a problem at every school in the state.Private public and what ever.If you think otherwise, you are living in a dream world.

Actually, "dude", you're taking my statement out of context. What I stated were that drugs are no more prevalent in the past then they are now. There has always been drug use. There will always be drug use. I also did not say drugs aren't a problem, I was stating that drugs are not the reason Princeton hasn't had success. A comment actually prevalent to high school athletics and the thread.

Uh nah what you said was, "drugs are not the problem." And what I said was, drugs are a problem in every school district, private, public, and home school, regardless of race, religion, economic standing. Drugs are way more prevalent today than in the past.Uh just check the obituaries every day, kids in their 20s dying.

Simply not true. We offer more sports than half the SWOC schools. Quit saying that. Simply not true.

Trying to figure what sports you are talking about? Mt. Healthy, Talawanda etc are having trouble though.

Because half of the schools suck at Football, Basketball and Track. So Winton Woods actually evens it out.

anybody heard anything about this gig? seems like a great place to go. would the community/alums be willing to let another outsider in or do they feel burned after this last coach?

I think more than likely it will be an outsider. Hopefully folks give that person the support they need. It will only hurt the program if they don't. No word on who's interviewing but I think the school officials in charge are trying to make a big splash hire. It may be hard to do that at this time of year. It would be in their best interest to get the next coach hired right away though, everyone else is working towards next season.

Hasn't coach Daniels name been rumored to be the front runner the last 2 times this job was open? I am guessing each time he looks at the big picture....having to teach....or stay a full time coach in college and the lure of future big $$$.
But again. Pretty sure this is different this time.???

I have seen some discussion on facebook suggesting that Mike Daniels is interested in the job. His college assistant experience provides credibility, but I would prefer someone with head coaching experience.

Jeremy is a great candidate for the job at Princeton.
He lives in the district. Great motivator , great coach /mentor/father figure to the young men at aiken the past 2+ years .

The fact he took a school that was I want to say 5-45 the past 5 years and go 6-4 , 7-3 and have the team in its first playoff game in,school history is nothing short of amazing. I personally think he would help wrestling at Princeton as well b/c I know he pushed our guys the past 2 years to wrestle and my #'s have went up ...

Pflug did interview, along with two others who were on staff this past season, Watson and Stevens.

I've heard so many different rumors about this job...first it was Crouch, then it was Mike Daniels, then I was told it's Justin Roden's job to lose and he's already been reaching out to guys in the area about being on his staff. THEN....I was told a big time coach from Columbus was added to the interview list this week....at this point, anything can happen.

Like I said in an earlier post, the administration at Princeton High School is a mess!
