Watching Ohio St vs Mich St basketball. Players on the floor in final minutes of game: J. Tate (OSU), M. Loving (OSU), M. Bridges (MSU). They all have something in common, each got knocked off in big time high school basketball games by our Jackson Polar Bears.
I see that Mentor posted on Twitter that they have tickets for sale during the week to Saturday's game at Jackson. They don't usually do that without good reason. How many people fit in Jackson? I have to believe it wouldn't sell out or anything, right? I imagine when Hoover comes to town it will be at that level, but I can't imagine Mentor brings any more than 75-100 people. I am planning to go and just want to make sure there should be plenty of tickets available.

Jackson's gym holds about 2100. I'd be very surprised if it's full Saturday.
Props to the coaching staff and this group of seniors for stepping up big when it counted. Jackson played one of the toughest schedules in the state in arguably the toughest league in the state with high expectations and a lot of people wanting them to fail. They've reached Columbus and have a bigger hill to climb to reach the championship but props to them for getting to this point
From the Jackson Basketball Twitter account I thought this was really cool. Show's what confidence this class had in their abilities and the influence the 2010 and previous classes had on these seniors. No doubt they will have a huge influence on the next generation of Jackson basketball players
