They might only win against the inner city Akron teams on the schedule
. I have watched a few games this year. It's sad at how far this team has become so uncompetitive. 3 yrs ago they could play with anybody in the area. The past 2 yrs ,Brandy Snow basically was their team and they won what 1 or 2 league games in 2 yrs.Now they barely beat a bad Buchtel team. They just lack talent at every position. The point guard is supposedly the leader.I can't figure out if her attitude or her turnovers per game is hurting the team the most.A yr or 2 ago, someone posted that Lake was going to have a lot of talent coming up.Well where is it because it is certainly not playing for Lake. Can't blame the coach ,he is just playing with what he has.

Best in the Federal League right now? Round 1 of league play is done, not focusing on records, who do you think is the best team right now? IMO...
1. Hoover
2. Glenoak
3. McKinley
4. Jackson
5. Perry
6. Green
7. Lake

Although I am a Hoover fan, Glen Oak deserves the # 1 ranking since they beat Hoover in the season opener.

Even though the the league play is half over.. I believe any of the top 5-6 could be "any given night". I will say tho I have been really impressed with Hoover and GlenOak so far this year. Hoover should have beaten GlenOak; they lost a huge lead. And for a soph Annie Roshak has been really impressive this year for Hoover.

Gotta keep GO up top til someone beats em... they've been playing with fire lately and have to play McKinley at the Fieldhouse Wednesday. It's just another great year in the Fed. Hoover got knocked off by Jackson today... doubt it'll be the only 'upset' in the next few weeks.

They've done a spectacular job this year so far.. only losses they had were a few pts. Kudos to the coach and players; they surely put in alot of work in the off season.

3 team race right now.
1. glenoak- theirs to lose
2. hoover- really good team but will need help to catch GO.
3. jackson- playing well and improving each game. could be the team that takes down GO.

They could have their entire 1st team out and I wouldn't think Lake would win.Lake has been clobbered by every team in the league.Green's win was probably the closest game and that was by 15 or so.The only teams that they competed with were the Akron city and Kent Roosevelt's. It's a good thing is really what I'm saying. This should atleast give them some confidence in themselves. In the games I've seen they have looked like a train wreck.
Congrats to the girls for believing.

I'm pretty sure Pierce was out for Green. Either way, Lake has to be excited that they fought through a lot of losing this year for this win. Better yet for them is I believe the paper said the freshman led them with 12 points. At least something to look forward to.

McK's win over Hoover guarantees GO will win the title. GO and Hoover still have one more match up but it's after the seeding/draw. The seeds after GO and Hoover will be interesting though. A number of teams with good cases for the higher seeds.

The dates are set if that's what you mean.... and the teams have submitted their record/info on their seasons (or are submitting.. that may be going on right now)
