I actually was expecting that you would be there for every practice. Also, if by "hanging out" you mean "help coach", then yes, definitely.

Excited about the Upcoming Freestyle Season!

Prodigy has worked to bring together area teams in Southwest Ohio (in Dayton and Northern Cincinnati) for the past 3 years. Providing an opportunity that has not always been available to coaches and wrestlers. Bringing past clubs like North Dayton Wrestling (formerly Raider Wrestling Club) and other local school clubs together to learn and train in Olympic Style Wrestling.

This has solved many problems (and excuses) made for why not to wrestle freestyle in the spring:

*Provides partners of all skill and ability levels to work together, from the first year freestyler to the multiple time Fargo Team Member!
*Provides separate Greco and Freestyle Clubs to concentrate on each style individually.
*Provides great coaching from some of the best coaches in SW Ohio.
*Provides 3 levels/areas of training for wrestlers to optimize their learning.
*Provides a North and South location for wrestlers to meet to help geographically
*Provides 4 Nights of Training for the very dedicated or to work around busy spring schedules.
*Provides an opportunity for coaches to take a breather by not having to organize (and even coach) in the spring but allows their wrestlers to improve.
*Provides a chance for wrestlers from partner schools to get discounted rates based on their schools/coaches involvement.

Our Partner School Program has grown every year from the mid to high teens to 22 partner schools this season! These coaches have chosen to come together to get better during the Spring months! I want to thank them for helping and buying into this idea.

Beavercreek, Bishop Fenwick, Butler, Carlisle, Carroll, Centerville, Chaminade-Julienne, Eaton, Edgewood, Fairborn, Franklin, Kettering Fairmont, Lakota East, Lebanon, Miamisburg, Springboro, Stebbins, Sycamore, Thurgood Marshall, Troy Christian, Wayne, Waynesville, Valley View, Xenia

Good luck to Cincinnati Wrestling Club! I think that what they are doing is great for the Cincinnati Area and provides even more opportunities to come together in large groups to get better. Get people together and train harder!

Night one went great!

Great night. Went very smoothly from registration to finish. Thanks to the partner school coaches involved for running some great sessions. 3 levels of wrestlers went great with about 10 coaches from area programs helping and running each session

86 Wrestlers are signed up after first night for Freestyle, Greco, or Both.

Beavercreek site will run practice tomorrow night from 6:30-8 pm at Beavercreek High School. Registration beforehand from 6-6:30 pm. Make sure to have a USA Wrestling Card for the North Sites! The website to purchase the card is found on our brochure.

Those who want to get a Freestyle Shirt with their registration must register by Wednesday, April 5th.
