Get your facts straight. CJ was D3 for two years. They won two districts and one regional (final four appearance). Under him they have made four final four appearances and won 9 districts. Not too bad.

I would love to see Cj and Purcell play again. It was Purcell’s 2nd game of the year. I still feel Badin is better than fenwick and mcnick. If the out it all together by year end they will be a tough out.

I think what Staley meant was that the quality of teams in Division III was not what he was used to come tourney time.

Alter beat Fenwick, McNicholas, and would beat Badin, (Alter played Badin with only 3 practices and had 3 starters out from football and only lost by 7). Yes, they had a bad loss to Carroll.

Of the North/Central schools it ranks with Bacon and Alter and is much better than all the others. You really are misinformed.

I like to look at it as if they played at a neutral site who would
Win.

Really excited for D2 #1 CJ vs. D1 #1 Moeller on Saturday. I know the Eagles have their hands full but they’ve got some things going for them. It’s at home and I remember they knocked them off at home in 2010 when Moeller was a State runner-up. Also, they get them the day after a game against a fellow GCL South, while the Eagles will be rested. Wouldn’t be surprised if they make it a close one.

I don’t think it’s wishful thinking at all. This moeller team isn’t without flaws. They are young, and not super deep. Lakota east and elder both led most the game against moeller. If Cj game plans correctly and defends well they for sure can keep it close.
