Max Preps must be wrong. The 2 schools play twice, and they actually play each other tomorrow at Carlisle. Go to the SWBL site, it seems to have better information.

SWBL? What's that ?... the Slow White Boy League? Those GCL boys would smack any one of these "SWBL" teams. LOL.

Did you troll around until you found a Thread with a League filled with D2 and D3 Schools before you could say that.

Nice win by Carlisle last night. I thought the boys played well. Big game Friday. Hope the coach doesn’t keep up with his old tricks of daddy ball Friday night against Madison. Go Injuns!

Who's talking about a slow white boy league? Moeller is the only team in the GCL that can compete against the D1 teams that have real athletes.

The waynesville/northridge game should be a good one tonight. Was looking up some league stats and twon hines is 2nd in the league in scoring, rebounds and steals. Northridge is first and second in the league in steals. Hopefully their defense can show out tonight. Their starting center still hasnt played. Wonder why?

Waynesville is up at the 48-36 with 4 minutes left. I think Hines has less than 10 points and less then 3 steals. Spartans are playing with fire and energy in the small And loud Northridge gym haha.

The bellbrook score is a surprise. I knew franklin had slipped but bellbrook has struggled early on. maybe brookvilles league this year
northridge will struggle without the center, hope he gets back soon.
Good win for madison, they take the buckeye for sure but still think they will not matchup well to faster athletic teams come tourney time, even when the 2 top guys get back

Northridge loss to waynesville is 125% on the coaching staff and that’s difficult to say because their coach is phenomenal. He has had great seasons. But I just can’t understand straying away from something that has made you a good team and that is the press. They didn’t press at all the first 3 quarters for some ridiculous reason because that where most of their offense comes from is transition buckets. They let waynesville get it down low to their big guy. They finally started to press in the fourth quarter which got them back in the game but it was too late. Highly disappointed in the coaching decision.

I have seen 3 of the teams in this league in person this season. Oakwood, Eaton and Valley View. My observation is that all three are less than stellar and I hope the kids are enjoying their season. Let's face it, great or less so, this is supposed to be fun.

Really impressed with how twon hines is playing. Heard he had some division one offers in football. Averaging 24.4 ppg(first), 8.4 rpg(2nd), and 3.2 spg(2nd to his teammate darryl story with 3.4). If he keeps it up i see him being the player of the year in the swbl. On a side note, i hope northridges center is able to play soon. That will make northridge better.

Heard this morning that Dixie and Preble may be looking at a conference change and read in a different thread that Monroe may be as well. Any truth to this stuff and is the SWBL in trouble?

I would be surprised if there was any truth to this. Aside from the CCC (who will not be looking to add teams), what other conference could be a potential fit for either Dixie or Preble Shawnee?

The SWOC will be looking to add at least one team and probably two. Dixie and Shawnee would not go there but Monroe and Franklin could be some schools they go after, whether they are interested or not is another question.

Where would Dixie and Preble Shawnee go? And why is Franklin playing Preble Shawnee? Supposedly a Divison 1 team playing a Divison 3 team? Can’t Franklin play Miamisburg, Lebanon or Fenwick?

I think Dixie is at a real disadvantage playing in the SWBL just because of their numbers. It would help their program a lot if they could play more D6 schools. As it is right now, everyone they play is bigger than them. I think Shawnee fits in fine where they are. They always have some good athletes and are pretty competitive in football and basketball.
