They’d probably end up a 3 Seed w/o Jones. The ACC is a gauntlet and they’d easily rack up 4-5 more losses.

Coach K deserved some credit for embracing the 1 and done method of recruiting, but IMO he dove too far. Who is the last multi year, meaningful stater he recruiter? Grayson Allen in 2014? Bolden is nice but he's barely a 5 and 5 guy in his third year. White hasn't gotten any playing time until this year.

I agree and that’s what worries me about their tournament prospects. I know it’s cliched, but Jones does play like an Upperclassman, he’s clearly the leader on the court.

Big win on the road for Duke. They’re not losing to anyone if they shoot like that from 3.

Tom Crean is one of the biggest POS in college basketball. Who throws their team under the bus to the media like that?

Here is a quote regarding his players from his post game press conference today

“It’s all on me,” he said. “Because I’m the one who decided to keep these guys. It’s all on me. And I get it. Because the last thing I can do, with making decisions, on keeping guys in the program in the spring, is now get overly mad at them because I’m the one who made the decision. So I live with that every day.”

About the 1:30 mark is what you’re referencing. The old “I’m not going to complain, here’s my complaint” line.

Rumors of UCLA pursuing Tony Bennett. That seems like a bad fit. UCLA fans want a high flying, fast paced Offense. Bennett teams are all about Defense and Half Court Offense. Plus, not many top recruits want to play that style of BBall.

Tom Crean is an azzhat. Always has been, always will be. It really says a lot about a coach to unload on their guys openly to the media like that. The phrase "Creaning" came into existence during his tenure at IU for a reason. I'd expect that at least a few of Coach Fox's remaining guys at UGA will get Creaned in the spring and will be looking for new schools.

Bennett would be a horrible fit at UCLA, and frankly, I don't think he would even entertain the thought of leaving UVA to go to UCLA. IMO UCLA should be targeting Eric Musselman. He's absolutely killing it at Nevada with a faster, higher scoring pace, and he has a lot of NBA experience. I think he'd appeal a lot to SoCal prospects and national blue chippers if he had the UCLA brand.

Yeah, good call on Musselman being a fit at UCLA.

How can you be so lacking in foresight that you pull that kind of stunt at a press conference less than 48 hrs before the biggest recruit in school history makes his decision? He must have either known Edwards was in the bag or he thought he had no shot and just let lose.

Tough way to lose a game. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the whole ball need to be out of the cylinder?

It really was. You could just see it unraveling with the press,, nobody trying to run an offense, when they miraculously got the ball across half court. It seemed like there were 8 turnovers in a row. Pboy has to be going wild

I’m still shocked. Vile kicked their azz for the first 30 minutes of the game. Jordan Goldwire’s Defense Helped turn the tide.

After going through the play by play, Louisville had 11 shot attempts on 24 possessions for the last 9:41 of the game. That's close to impossible to do unless you cough up the ball almost every time up the court, which is pretty much what they did
