I'm pretty sure this big scoreboard is going in the open end of the stadium. That would eliminate the possibility of more bleachers.

Just saw on the Euclid AD's twitter page, Lincoln Electric and Euclid HS's welding class will be building a pressbox bridge that attaches the pressbox to the school. Attached is the link.

If capacity is 6500, too small for Eds-Ignatius. And it looks like SRO tix would be minimal compared to what they sell at Byers and Lakewood.

And it is official, the Jackson vs Euclid game will be played at New Euclid Stadium tomorrow night. Euclid AD confirmed. parking is $2 in the lot. I suggest parking on the surrounding streets along 228th, 232 and 236

This looks like a great stadium. Despite the delays/controversies, Euclid got it right.

Makes it one of the few unique stadiums in the state. The layout is very similar to Erie Veterans Memorial Stadium in PA except Euclid’s grand stand is metal bleachers

It does look like a beautiful stadium unfortunately there were only about 150-200 fans on the home side of Sparky stadium when we played against Euclid this year. I guess Rotsky needs to pay a little more to have the athlete's families move to the city too. It's a shame the parents aren't able to travel from other cities to watch their kids play home games.

The new stadium still looks horribly out of place wedged in between the school and the original field - up its real nice. Maybe once the school is built and the stadium and walkway is complete I will feel different. As for the actual viewing experience there are very few stadiums if any that can match it. With no track surrounding the playing field you are right on top of the action. That is both a good and a bad thing. You are so close to the action that you can hear the f bombs being thrown around by the Euclid coaches as they instruct their players. That was the only real downside.

I don't think it is horrible.

It is funny to see two football stadiums, capable of hosting games for many schools, right next to each other

At Sparky, maybe for small school games but since they removed the visitors side and replaced them with smaller bleachers reducing the seating to 3,500 not so much for larger schools

I haven’t posted on this thread in sometime but the new Euclid Panther Stadium is finished. And here is the new scoreboard that was put up just recently and some of the fencing that was installed.

Just a fair warning to visiting fans and Euclid and VASJ supporters that 222nd is down to 1 lane with northbound lane closed due to road work being done thanks to the new high school construction. Also the parking lot is an absolute mess. If you’re coming from west side, and southern counties that take you through downtown, I recommend getting off at E.200th Street until you get to Tracy Ave. east siders I would get off at either Babbitt and turn down 232 until you get to Tracy or get off at the 222nd exit and turn down 228th street until you reach Tracy. And I would park on the side streets with how messed up the parking lot is currently. Hopefully it clears up to a point by August but I doubt it.

They would be smart and add padding just in case a player runs into them
