Curious if Harkins goes 120... been 126 since December
pretty solid information that Harkins will be at 120.

Looking forward to seeing him and Bryan of Wyoming going at it.

That could be a interesting weight. Some solid wrestlers: (In no particular order)

Leszczuk
Huff
Bryan
Sauter
Bruns

Seeds out.. few interesting notes..

1) Big Dunn-I assume he is registered.. just not enough matches to be seeded. So he will be unseeded at 160 I guess?

2) Huff, Waters, Felts all dropped.... Huff and Felts going for scratch.. not sure about Waters.

3) Ploehs to 145.....

This sectional has 157 wrestlers in it. I compared to the WCH sectional with only 108!

Big Dunn should have criteria being a d qualifier, ast year correct? If so he may not be wrestling. Felts dropping is a head scratcher to me forgoing a top2 placement but maybe coaches see something I don’t. I just can’t imagine him getting past gear. This may also open the door for Kimmerly of NR at 195 which I think now has a favorable bracket. Regardless it will be a fun weekend for all and I wish everyone a weekend of good health.

Good notes ! Also to be noted the Batavia sectional has 17 teams but 3 teams will be counted because they do not have 7 or more wrestlers.

Washington CH has 11 teams 2 which will not count towards the actual team count..

Batavia should have more wrestlers based on the amount teams competing.

Batavia numbers are up compared to last year when they were at 148

While WCH is the exact same number at 108.

Seeding criteria only counts for district placers and up for last year. Big Dunn went 2-2 and defaulted out of districts. So if heís really entered heís unseeded.

Big Dunn nearly got zapped in his quarterfinals match vs Wilmington. He got thrown to his back for the first take down. He was fortunate to fight his way out of bounds. Of course, after getting out of bounds he didn't mess around and took care of business before the end of the first period.

For a moment I thought we had the first significant upset.

I was wrong about felts. Looked ok at this weight and did a nice job of making gear wrestle his match. I was shocked and can admit I was wrong about that match

Iams from Ross certainly looked solid against Felts. Looks like he has a nice route to the finals at Wilmington too. Can't wait to see him in action next week.
