Another scam. Putting it under the name of " Bishop" makes it seem like a legit Catholic school; it's not. Just look at their website. No staff, no activities, etc. Scam, which needs to be investigated.

If you check it out on Google, the references come up as "Bishopsy Camore"; not "Bishop Sycamore". All the pages you can access contain the same pseudo-Latin nonsense last seen in the early stages of COF. I did see a web page indicating there was some sort of student recruitment event in Brooklyn. So it appears to be more of the same COF nonsense.

That's just the generic pre-filled content that comes with the web site template.

Maybe, but "Bishopsy Camore" is a little put-offish!

I'm sure the Diocese of Columbus is thrilled with the new name for COF.

Interesting. Gotta commend them for still giving it the old college try. Wow, though.

Now the website says the campus is (will be?) "nestled" between Bexley and downtown Columbus. That sounds like an almost-respectable venture if you can name-drop Bexley as an adjacency.

Sounds like the soap opera might be green-lighted for at least ten more episodes.

Perhaps Columbus City Schools should've promoted East HS with that description of its location. St. Charles can say the same thing as well.

Can't find a physical address anywhere on the "school's" website. This is the gift that keeps on giving.

We call that St. Charles here in Columbus

Correction: it sounds like an almost-respectable venture, with a whiff of erudition!

I don't think my question deserves a thread of its own, but does anyone know anything about a KIPP club team?

KIPP is an actual OHSAA sanctioned school. They are classified as Division 7, and schools did receive points for wins last year.

I don't think KIPP is a "club" team. It's a charter school.

My definition of "club" involves teams that aren't sponsored directly by a school (IE Landmark, West Union, Southern Buckeye, North Adams...) or are but accept any kids that want to tryout and play (Crusaders, Middletown Christian...).

Schools that operate under general OHSAA rules and don't have those outside kids aren't "club" in my book (Hudson Western Reserve Academy, KIPP)

I doubt this soap opera will be on the Fall schedule, but if you like legal dramas tune in to the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas docket. If their players could have dodged tacklers the way these guys dodge process servers, they would have gone undefeated.

Heartland Bank case no. 18 CV 007448 and First Merchants Bank case no. 18 CV 009775 make for some interesting reading.

They've also been keeping the Franklin County Municipal Court busy with their shenanigans in cases 2018 CVG 031931, 2018 TR D 163963, 2018 TR D 147785, 2018 CVG 010898, and 2018 CVG 002327. And that's just 2018.

Yet Jay Richardson waltzes around town and on TV like nothing fishy is going on. I don't get it.

The frightening thing is that this would suggest they have 6 games scheduled already!
