That whole argument was a little tongue in cheek. Lighten up. Kirtland was the better team..I merely stated that the game would have been more interesting with Bruns at 100%.

I too believe the game could have been different had Bruns remained healthy. His accuracy was noticeably below average today, and his scrambling ability was limited.

Congratulations to the Hornets - the big guys up front and the numerous athletes everywhere else got the job done.

I expected Torok and Neibecker to do well. Powers, #1, #28, and #6 were surprisingly good.

I don't know...you said you'd for sure score 2 more touchdowns and the game wouldn't have been interesting. Hypocrite. I made a generalization..the game would have been more interesting. Didn't say ML would have won, did I?

Congrats to the Kirtland and Tiger winning the rubber match. The blocked field goal was the play of the game.

You and your efforts are appreciated!

At least the rubber match for now. Can't imagine their paths won't cross again.

The potential is out there that Kirtland could possibly face a different MAC school next year as Marion will have a drop in talent and possibly drop to division 7. Oh and Congrats Kirtland, you were the better football team. Sucks your running back was 6 yards shy of the school record.

The um ok comment was directed at the statement that "Bruns was only out a few plays". Anyone that has watched him all year clearly could see that he wasn't "all there".

Guess Mogadore did pretty well against Kirtland after all...tied until Kirtland scored with 15 sec left. D6 was stacked this year. Congratulations Kirtland for bringing title back to Region 21!!

Kirtland was my pre-season pick and they did nothing to make me change that pick all season. They were dominating in their quest for a State Championship. Congrats. The team just wins and does it with hard work and class.

Love seeing Kirtland win with a suffocating defense.
I have to try and find the time to hit one of their games up.

Come on over to mercer county when they play Coldwater. Bring that moldy-money though to contribute to the record setting 50/50s

My travels on Thursday and Friday will be restricted to more local games because of work and later trips to Iowa, Texas, Ind,Pa,Ky and WV, with a early trip(Maybe to TENN).
