Clinton Massie 2019

How is CM looking this year? Heard QB is going to step right in and make things happen. Backfield is back and line is going to be quick and strong. How's defense looking?

This team will be fast and they are putting in work where they need it. Should have some sophomores step up and we shouldn’t miss a beat. Going to be a good year and deep playoff run.

Tough schedule for Massie. Can they go undefeated in the regular season? Who are their toughest opponents?

That would be my guess. He has had all the reps in 7's from what I hear. Should know where they stand at quad scrimmage at Edgewood.

They have been rotating week 2 for quite awhile.
Plus, likely didnt want any more of that juggernaut of Massie as they were fortunate to get out with a split a a 2-1 series lead!

Hoping the best for CM!

St. Maryís or Wapak probably wonít pick up that game as they would like to play a bigger school. Playing in the WBL, there arenít many computer points up for grabs when you are forced to play Lima Bath (one of the worst D5 teams), Defiance (perennial D3 bottom feeder) and many D4 schools every year.

With the WBL only having 1 OOC game, it is imperative those schools schedule a game they can win well more than 50% of the time in week 1. Playing a top notch program may make them overall a better team, it isn't as good for them computer points wise.

Thatís what iím saying. Clinton Massie is a good program that can beat Wapak and St. Maryís, along with being a small school that screws them for points. For St. Maryís it was always good they played Sidney because they were a D2 they could always beat but when they did lose to them it didnít mean much because they are D2

Eh, the division size would just be an excuse for a SM or Wapak to not play CM.

CM is going to win 8-9 games so that would get them a good amount of harbins.

The TRUE reason why SM/Wapak would not want to play CM is because of the very real possibility of getting beat and getting nothing at all and when you only have one OOC game you best be getting that W.

Coldwater has a winning record against Massie and the Cavs are just a bunch of little guys. You'd think the bigger SM/Wapak teams would have no fear of Massie.

1-1 in their two game series and the other was a playoff game many moons ago.

Wapak and SM are DIII/IV, respectfully so it isnt like playing a perennial 9 win DIV team is going to hurt your harbins.

Winning that game......eh, maybe.

However, both teams seem to have good gigs vs Bellefontaine/Sidney where they should win most years and even better yet they are as big or bigger in divisions.

I am simply stating that the reason why SM/Wapak would not schedule the likes of CM isnt because their school size, it has more to do with the probability of winning.

Wapak has faced CW in a few things over the years, 7/7 and maybe even a scrimmage and also see what they have done to Kenton over the years so they know the Cavaliers aren't no slouch.

I was just throwing out names that also had open dates for the same week, Massie just want to play teams that are quality and competitive every year, size does not matter. playing up a division or down makes no different. It's are OCC game that we can mix up every few years and hopefully match up with some great teams.
