Will Mckinley figure out Perry's offense. How long can Keith keep going at Perry. Will McKinley reestablish their position as one of Ohio's premier programs?
Will jackson and Glenoak ever reach their potential? Can Central continue to do more with less?
Please ignore the trolls.
Lets discuss and Not criticize.

This seems like an odd list. Where is Lake? Alliance? Marlington?

Will Massillon ever figure out how to win a State Title on the field?

Perry is better coached than Massillon and will beat them if they play each other in the playoffs. They return a lot this year.

McKinley, with an excellent, highly respected new head coach in Marcus Wattley, who was formally an assistant to Terry Bowden @ Akron and was formally a winning head coach @ Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary, look to be strong. He has also brought in former Green Bay Packer's outstanding player Mark Murphy as defensive co-ordinator, a job he has held with distinction for several- years @ Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary. McKinley returns some D1 talent and enough support to be Stark's top dog, and that's exactly where I have them this year. Defense, as everyone knows, wins championships. The Bulldogs finished 9-3 last year, and continue their climb. An early big test comes with a very talented Euclid team coming to Stark's premiere stadium and the Home of the Bulldogs, Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium

North Canton is going to have a D1 quarterback and lots of good kids around him as the Hoover program continues to improve. the Vikes could be a threat in both the league and the playoffs, and will be a dangerous foe for everyone they play.

1. Canton McKinley
2. Perry
3. Massillon
4. North Canton Hoover
5. Lake
6. Loiusville
7. Alliance
8. Jackson
9 Marlington
10. Canton GlenOak

1. Massillon - returning QB and 2 time defending regional champ.
2. Hoover - going on a bit of a limb but could be their time now, finally.
3. Perry - ditto Massillon has had Mckinley's number
4. Mckinley - could easily be higher but first years under new management are too iffy, and big ? at QB.
5. Jackson or Lake and possibly Louisville but guessing at this point.
As usual CCC is always a darkhorse.

Akron University defensive backs coach Otis Mounds has just joined the McKinley staff, making it far and away the best coaching staff in Stark County! This defense will be RUGGED! The former professional football player who starred @ Auburn, is a great developer of talent! His Akron U defensive backfield had some of of the nation's best stats last year. He's been @ Akron the last 5 years and was a former high school head coach in Florida.

DEFENSE wins CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Go Bulldogs! Always keep the faith!

Why did this guy leave Akron for a high school job? It certainly can't be for the money.

I love how these mutt fans think just because a guy coached in college translates to success at the high school level. JJ has said the same thing about the last 4 coaches and they all flamed out.

Neither Canton McKinley or Massillon has EVER had the defensive coaching staff from a college come in, let alone a staff that defeated a Big Ten team with Akron U before. This makes you a liar as usual, as NO Stark high school has had this kind of injection of college coaching talent in history. I could hardly have said this about previous staffs since this factor never existed before now, Owner. .So as usual, you've just been owned. We also have Mark Murphy, former Green Bay Packer and Defensive co-ordinator form Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary ALONG with their top-notch strength coach Gary.

Our kids will be very connected to the college recruiting grid and will get scholarships as they will be developed by the best staff in Stark County, maybe America. Defense wins championships!

.
Wow you have Canton South and Tuslaw over Marlington and Alliance lol. Marlington put a running clock on South last year and have many retuning starters back. But it is what it is. Everyone has the right to their opinion.

Everyone's happy Canton hired new coaches. Now stop your childish ranting. The less you say the less ignorant you will be perceived. Personal attacks are not only forbidden on this site but also show the desperation of ones character. Until canton proves they can win they will be rated # 3 by me.
I am very interested in watching Perry develop this year. I'm hearing good things about Tuslaw. I believe Jackson will soon become starks big school power, they certainly have the numbers and resources. We are very lucky to have an abundance of quality teams in the county. Gone are the days of 1 or 2 school's dominating in these parts. I can't wait for August in stark county.

And until Massillon can prove, like McKinley has a few times, that they can win a Division One State Playoff Championship....Ooops! That ship has sailed lol. Canton McKinley and its new College coaching staff is Stark's #1 for 2019.

I hope south does improve. But not sure how you go from very bad last year to very good this coming year. I do think last year against Marlington was definitely souths worst game of the year. They struggled horribly in every aspect of the game. I believe on that given night south and Minerva would of been interesting. But again south played really bad on that night. Everyone is talking Alliance,Alliance and Alliance maybe deservedly so winning back to back titles. But I truly think marlington will be right there week 10. Theres rumors the dukes might drop to division lV this year. The good! Easier to possibly getting in playoffs easier. The bad! Steubenville. If Marlington stays lll I'm guessing they have to win at least one of the big three games on there schedule. Poland, New Philadelphia or Alliance. Win one of those and win the rest. Not an easy task. Marlington returns many starters and some very good skilled players. I remember when my grandson was born my son did the math and said he'll graduate in 2020. We laughed and thought how far off that sounded. Well what seems to be 2 weeks later this is it. Scarey how fast life flys by. Should be a fun year in the EBC. Good luck to all teams. And here's hoping Minerva gets that proverbial win this year and kicks that monkey to the curb.

I hadn't heard Anthony Gary was joining the staff. If so, he is a strong addition. But on another thread, another name was listed as the incoming strength coach. But the addition of Gary would make a lot of sense.
