In either case, answering a question with a question is a sign you lack a credible answer.

One last chance - do you find this Twitter link a credible source of information?
I don't know anything about the source. However, the content of the link speaks for itself, no?

All I asked was did the latest version of digits have a link or was he just assuming. I guess its a big deal to ask for a link

Thanks for at least answering the question. Graber would occasionally have some accurate content as well. I just don't trust the Twitter bottom feeders. Or the 'Loons.

In the end - doesn't really matter. HOFV project is under new management and moving forward no matter who likes it or not. I remain hopeful it succeeds for the sake of the entire region. County population shrunk again.

So as you are well aware, the issue with asking for a link is because the basement dweller from Jackson asks for one even when it's not warranted, there is no link, or a link is irrelevant. Just the term "link" perpetuates negativity. Happy Good Friday everyone. LOL.

When you tell everyone you have a billion dollar project but can not raise the money you have no project. Nothing is being built. Forget twitter drive over there and see nothing being built for yourself.

Actually "1234567" there has been more progress made since the project was halted awhile back.... but don't bother actually recognizing the truth... just ask for rome to be built in a day, much better approach

What responsibility does the city have to honor an agreement between the school board and the Hall of Fame?

This project has I think a better control on what they want to accomplish..."The mayor credits five people for leading the Centennial Plaza project: state Sen. Kirk Schuring, R-Jackson Township; Repository Publisher and CEO Jim Porter; HOF President and CEO David Baker; Chamber President and CEO Dennis Saunier; and Gervasi Vineyards owner Ted Swaldo." This group has accomplished projects thru their career and they are keenly aware that the HOF Project has been a cluster.

My only concern is this statement...."The Pro Football Hall of Fame is collecting the money because it is a nonprofit and such donations are tax-deductible, according to the council communication." The Hall of Fame and money with the latest track record doesn't sound that great. IRG has a "wink wink" supposed track record of intermixing of funds..ie The Hoover project. I would be concerned with temptation and yes I do understand separate projects separate accounts. Just making an observation from outside and looking at how the Stadium issue went, McKinley Athletic Offices, and they still have not completed all of what they promised the Park Dept.

They have no responsibility (or authority) to do that. But handing over management of Market Square to these dopes seems like a bad idea by the city.

As for the locker room issue, because the initial vision of HOF Village is completely dead, the district is being held to a deal that was a lie. The chamber of commerce, the Canton Rep, and others put TREMENDOUS pressure on the Canton City Schools to get a deal done to allow the stadium and fields to be built based on the original deal that included the hotel, the draft, the indoor facility, etc... They were told "You're not going to be the ones to ruin this for Canton, are you?"

If the Hall said 6 years ago, "lease us this land and 6 years from now we will have an incomplete stadium whose locker rooms you're not welcome in, no replacement facility for you, the fields incomplete, no other meaningful development on the site, and you have to use an old gym and have a season of games at Central Catholic," I don't think the district would've signed anything.

So the kids are left holding the bag created by "Curly" Baker, "Larry" Lichter, and "Moe" Allison. It's all disheartening and frustrating.

Today, Adrian Allison, former Canton McKinley Superintendent, was announced as the new general counsel and senior vice president of human resources for the Hall of Fame.

There are some posters on here who are in the know...I wonder how many people are thinking possible conflict of interest with this hire. Negotiates the deal and then gets hired by the people he negotiated with. Oh and Allison was not made available to be interviewed.

It's not to keep him quiet. It's quid pro quo for Allison screwing over CCS and hiding what he was doing to benefit the Hall to the detriment of the district from the board.

Then again, could he have reminded Dave Baker of his dirty deeds and the fallout that would ensue if he owned up to it? Maybe. That'd be a good reason to make up a job for him.

Yes, and what is my2sense's take on Allison's hiring by the HOF? He seems to be avoiding the subject.

I don't see how "the term "link" perpetuates negativity."

It's merely a request for corroborating information. Much is said here on Yappi that is untrue and can't be backed up.

Besides, how did it turn out in this instance?

Went to the Dedication Program for TVHS becoming a National Register Historic Places on Sunday and saw the Mayor,a few BOE members, nothing good was said about the HOF project. That and the hiring of the football coach was not what I wanted to hear, nothing good about how things are being done and by who, looks like a long haul and not too promising at the end.
