You are delusional. Everyone knows that the Eagles have been gearing for this year; no one will come close. If they fail to achieve the state championship and undefeated season, their fans will be supremely disappointed and the rest of the state will be shocked.

You won't come close to the mighty Eagles. The feathers will fly.... and they will be red.

Truly glad to see Mentor on the schedule. I know MG2002 is not thrilled, but having the top Region 1 teams playing before the playoffs makes things interesting. Certainly more interesting than playing Football North, eh?

Pickerington Central takes on the Illinois 5A state champs Aug. 26 on ESPN (Otterbein). We'll know what we have after that. Really looking forward to another smackdown of Davidson a couple weeks later.

Do Tell ? And maybe that "smackdown" should happen considering the Picktown recruiting advantage. However don't sell Davidson short this year. They have alot of returners from an admittedly mediocre team last year but will be improved. They were in every game last year with the exception of one and with a tough schedule. If Lancaster can give Central Hell year in and year out, Davidson is capable of the same thing especially at home and they way they shorten games with their style of play. It may be a tougher game than you think.

Yes I agree , PC should win because they have too many horses , BUT Davidson will be improved enough to hang in for most of the game I think . If they played last year PC rolls , this year Davidson has about 15 kids back that saw a lot of action .

PC O-line is new , HD has a couple good edge guy up front and two three year starters at LB who are good tough players with some ability . If I was PC I would go deep early and often and if unsuccessful it will at least open some things up on the ground , but could ;produce a couple of home-runs

Elder has a lot of talent returning next year and could very well be in the Top 10 for much of the season.....the 2 big questions: are they going to let QB Michael Bittner throw the ball enough? And can the DBs and LBs get it done against deep threats/speed on the edge?

One of my fellow Elder fans may be able to help with this, it seems there's a decent amount of talent available on the defense, but the picture of the defense as a whole is pretty cloudy right now.

Right, passing will be the best bet for PC. HD is usually tough to run on, no doubt. Should be fun. Hopefully it's a two year deal.

I'm really surprised to see St.Eds as just a "team to watch" on your list, especially since they're one of the few top teams from last year to have a returning QB

You'll learn that EagleFan is a notorious sandbagger, who knows ( deep down inside) that his Eagles are favored to go undefeated and win the state championship. Anything less would be a real disappointment to all the fans and alumni. But, you'll never see it here....................
