I'd be perfectly ok with splitting Auglaize and Mercer Counties but I doubt they'd do that but we'll see. So far I'm pleased with what I'm seeing.
could Anna and Minster go south? when do they draw up the regions?

Certainly probable. I wouldn't rule it out completely as far as Coldwater, Fort, SH, and Parkway going north. Lima Perry went down which helps but I certainly am not banking on us going north. When are the regions getting released?

Lcc and Jefferson was south last year so I think it's likely.

It'll be interesting. Maybe Minster and Marion Local basically swap Region 24/28 and Anna jumps into something like 22? That would be my best guess based upon last year's map. While Crestview is losing alot, it was fun the past couple of years battling Minster in the playoffs. Will be missed.

If I counted correctly, 7 teams are leaving region 24. 5 teams total are leaving region 20 & 28 for region 24 potentially. Region 22 is plus 2region 19 is minus 1. So by my thinking if anything, you could see a couple teams added from region 22 to region 24. Allen county is split already. Bluffton and Allen east go north. Lcc and Jefferson head south. Doesn't mean that will happen but that is one scenario

That will certainly be a battle cry. Not sure it'll be on the practice field or not just yet! Good luck to Minster in D VI. Always great teams!

Not looking forward to this upcoming year. Crestview will probably be down and AC will be down for a few years so it's probably time to take some beatings instead of handing them out.

I wonder if the new Bball coach will kill the football program like it happened in the late 70's early 80's? I hope it doesn't. Crestview has been a very good program in football for 15+ years

That'd be the stupidest thing Crestview could do.

I don't think it will, but we'll see. I'm hoping it doesn't kill the newly to be wrestling program. I'm looking forward to working with the youth wrestling program officially and not as a step parent unofficially helping. I already help AC & Bellmont youth football and possibly AC youth wrestling when not at Crestview.

Haha. He is going to be carrying a big load on his shoulders this year.

I get what Frasier Crane is saying. Ray Etzler didn't like football. He did his best to get rid of it in the 70s/80s according to many. His son is stepping is as basketball coach.

However, Javin Etzler broke the mold last year. Having an Etzler play football and the football/basketball coaches seeing their teams do offseason workouts in the weight room together definitely brings unity across the sports.

None of the programs are going anywhere. And basement....its going to take alot of people with wrestling knowledge to get that program going and sustained. Programs such as wrestling, soccer, lacrosse, etc that are gaining momentum across Ohio need passionate coaches that know what they are doing.

That shouldn't be an issue. Jake is extremely knowledgeable and you will have Bellmont and AC wrestlers involved with your youth program. Those two programs have had much success for their size in Indiana.

Cavs lose a lot so this ACME season, which will be be cut very short, is very instrumental in forming next year's spring squad. TB will do a great job with them this summer and expedite the learning process. I do believe they host the State so that will get them a few extra games possibly.

Number 7 for the baseball program, congrats, and now it is up to the FB program to match it!

It will be difficult for more than 3 to make it, if even 3 do.

Odd for us to be in a region with an odd number at the end.

2 years ago and they had a freshman running back then that was quite talented named Shaun Thomas. Look out for him as a junior this season.

I do not see the Regional assignments on the OHSAA page. Have they been removed or am I missing them?
