Post Aviators Soar Over the Wave

The Butler Aviators are one of the toughest opponents that Greenville will face all season. The team has 2 dominating post players with Brian Johnson being the feature player for Aviators – he made plays on both offense and defense – punctuating his night with back to back dunks in the 2nd quarter when the...

Butler along with Lebanon will be strong this year and suprise a lot of teams.
It's also good to see Butler strong again. Both(Butler and Lebanon) I believe, win their divisions with Butler's toughest division game being at Sidney. Lebanon's division being a little stronger with Miamisburg and Springboro off to good starts.

Great photos thank you for sharing.

Agreed Zezzo it’s nice to see Butler playing good basketball. They were a good core last year but just didn’t know how to finish teams off. They have worked really hard in the offseason and bought in to what coach is doing. They have a great relationship with each other and the staff. Most importantly this team believes that they can go out and compete with anyone on any given night. It’s going to be a fun basketball season in Butler again. That’s something that we haven’t been able to say since Coach Z was pacing the floor.

Just as I said for Sidney in football, it's nice to see Butler have success in basketball. They had some squads back about a decade ago.

Agreed. No disrespect to trotwood but I feel like them leaving the North has really opened things up and created parity in football and basketball. Troy has taken the reigns in football but I am hoping that the rest of the North can keep things competitive. Good days ahead in the North!

Both Butler/Sidney games were tight last season. Split with both teams losing at home.

On the flip side of it, it's painful to see Greenville has fallen off so badly. It's going to be a long time before we can get players the caliber of Guillozet and Gable again.
