I am guessing that these transfers are all legit but it's not like Cleveland or University Heights is located in a hot job area to pull these parent(s) to move and set up their lives in this location. There is affordable rental housing but then again there is also affordable apartments in Beachwood & Orange and while their hoops programs are not at the Heights level their academics are way above the CH/UH District.

Your absolutely right,I asked Heights new AD Joe Di'amato about the sitting out games for any transfers and he assured me that none of the transfers will miss any regular season games or post season games. They all came to Cleveland Heights on a legitimate move so their is no restrictions,so watch out for the Tigers this year.

Nah this is not AAU, its high school basketball in the state of OHIO, lol.
Some schools get all the luck, some schools do nothing but complain. All I can say is go out there and do your best! Coach it up!

D4:

Convoy Crestview returns a lot after a regional final appearance.
2 D1 commits on the same team in both Etlzer boys. Oldest is Miami bound and younger brother is being looked at by OSU and Purdue

Hughes has to beat Taft first. In the scrimmages they look like the the best D2 in Cincy.

I think Ed's will be the top team in NE Ohio D1. I'm hearing good things about McKinley and Lorain as well but dont know a lot about them. D2 is loaded and Benny, VASJ and CCC are all in different districts. There are solid teams like Lake and Gilmour as well but the 3 I mentioned are the cream of the crop. IMO

And quite possible for VASJ and Bene to see each other in Canton and possibly CCC in Columbus since they are playing out of Bowling Green

My personal opinion on the best teams in the state (any division) is as follows:

1. Fenwick
2. Tecumseh
3. Everyone else

Do not sleep on Buchtel in D2. They have as much talent as any team in the State and, IF they gel, they will be hard to handle. That will be especially true come tournament time once the freshman phenom has a year of HS ball under his belt. To me, they will be one of the most intriguing teams in the State. They could be great. But they are unproven and much of their schedule won't challenge them the way that VASJ and Bennies schedules will do. And if things go sideways, or if Chapman plays like he has one foot out the door to go play with Bronny after his freshman season, then things could unravel in a hurry. I hope not. I'd love to see that team develop chemistry and march into the post-season on a mission.

in d3 Deer Park lost 3 very good players but should be as good or better. They are big, athletic, deep and have 2 of the best guards in the state who are just juniors in Gentry and Wise, both starters last year. Hocker was dominate at state last year at center. They have to get by Purcell Marion who has almost everybody back.

I agree Deer Park and Purcell are probably both top 5 in state this year. My question is thought where do you see Deer Park having depth? They have their top 5 after that????????

Moeller is the best D1 team in Cincinnati, if not SWO.
