He had 1 underachieving season, 2 yrs into his tenure. Maybe if he failed repeatedly for 12 yrs, then youíd have in case. However, he won a mother f**kiní WS 3 yrs after they fired him.

The Bearcats, like the Reds, are in no position to hire anyone better.

No, they just have to be more proficient in their due diligence. You guys act like itís impossible for a non P5 or small mkt team to attain any high level success when thereís plenty of examples. You really think the Reds couldnít have hired someone like AJ Hinch? All of these excuses for losing are bs.

If you are the manager in today's baseball, you have to A. get along with the GM, and B. win games, in that order. Dusty Baker would still be the Reds manager, but he wanted to control everything. Today, the GM is more important that the manager. It's a players game, and always will be.

What, you thought Barry Larkin would take over? Donít be an idiot. This season is done, and you canít put a Mgr with zero experience in charge of this mess. Use your head.

Was hoping for Farrell. I know Riggleman isn't the long term answer. But why not hire Farrell at least?

Bc he hasnít been on the bench this yr. Girardi would be my first choice, but understanding thatís not entirely realistic, Iíd go with Farrell.

You even argue when someone agrees with you. I did like Trader Jack. He was a character.

You are moving the goal post again.

But you were convinced just a couple of days ago when you said.

" Ownership has far less to do with actually winning than a Coach... youíre making a huge leap. "

Hard to see any credible manager stepping into this mess at this time. Let the dumpster burn and take the job next year.

I am so tired of NFL Draft talk by the major national sports talk shows...it's really sad that so much time is spent on something that matters so little. You have a major sport's playoffs going on right now, baseball has started and the hockey playoffs are going on and 75% of the time they talk about Rosen/ Mayfield/ Darlold / Barkley...who cares!!! We'll all know later this week.

I have no idea how good Stephen A. Smith is at talking sports and what he knows, but he's definitely entertaining.

He has about the same knowledge as you on the Reds thread...

Both just kinda talk to hear themselves talk while making little sense.
