Lol, it's not a surprise that you support hypocrisy.

Anyway, I heard this kid was Moeller lean but recently visited Elder and LaSalle, LaSalle was able to flip him.

I am really not understanding all of the nasty remarks. Here is the bottom line, this kid is a good kid I personally know him. He plays at Lakota West for Larry Cox who will do nothing all to develop him as a QB because it is well documented that Cox is not a very good coach, as a matter of fact he is pretty bad. Just maybe the parents took him to visit some of the GCL schools that he might have a decent opportunity to compete for a starting job next year and get developed as a QB and get a first class education. He damn sure wasnt going to get developed as a QB at Lakota West. Maybe, just maybe the parents are taking the initiative and not the schools. Looks like he went to a couple of schools to shadow, several kids are transferring away from LW, he is just the one that happens to be going to the GCL.

Actually nobody has cried at all. In fact quite the opposite. I've laughed my azz off for 35 years reading you guys try to deny it.

Maybe. God forbid a young man and his parents do something for his future.

Did they research LaSalle's debt? Or why their last principle was fired?

I doubt it as that is not on most peoples checklist of things to do when looking for a High School for their kids. As long as LaSalle is going to be around at least two more years I would say they did ok. By the way I am not a LaSalle guy but I hate to see the venom being spat by some as it relates to a 15 to 16 year old kid.

I rarely feel that, in situations like this the shots that are fired are fired at the kids, it's mostly at the hypocrisy of the system and/or the adults involved. In this particular case....in my opinion....it's at the hypocrisy of the system. The OPHSAA strikes again.

Are you still unclear about all this? According to a publication I received earlier this year, LS went through an audit like two years ago and has re-positioned itself in partnership with a major accounting firm.

Your narrative is old. You'd be better served worrying about the dreadful marketing your school has out there.

Do explain. Whatever the reason this young man and his family chose to move on, whether it be for a better education, a better coach, better development for a college career, to be with friends, etc., it far outweighs "fairness" to his former program and its fans. Also, La Salle's need to increase its enrollment also outweighs "fairness" to another program.

My rebuttal is that everytime a parochial school "gets a kid", it's to "better his life." How convenient for them....

Why else would someone choose to go to a different school? Unless you're moving and it becomes necessary, you change schools for something you perceive to be better for you.

Grow up.

I know you have trouble paying attention, I would say you took too many shots to the head during your playing days but your hide n seek style of posting indicates very strongly that there is no way in he!! You ever played the game. Read post #45 again.

Maybe the Lancers are trying to use the voucher program as well as Hartley does, which means they will be striving to move up a division.

My grasp on reality? Lol....you're adorable. You're the one trolling a program that has beaten you, the last three times we've played, by scores of....70-0....63-34....and 34-17.

Lost in all the teeth-gnashing is the fact that this deal is still essentially a net win for West.

What hypocrisy? I'm just making fun of the fact that you people still cry about a 35-year-old asskicking.

Could be...not sure how that's relevant. I'm just glad that West will have a quarterback next year who hopefully can throw to the guys in the right color jerseys.

I know he's only a sophomore, but he's really not that good. I certainly don't count it as any kind of catastrophic loss.
