I like the Jags in this game today. The only way I see the Jags lose if Bortles gives it away.

eastside_purple is infamous around these parts
Would like to see the Bills win, but I love Jacksville’s defense, so I’d be okay either way.

Is this the worst QB matchup in the playoffs ever?

You beat me to it. I was going to ask 'saders if he was enjoying this battle of stout defenses and non-elite QBs. They've got Fournette and Shady..... I don't understand...

Hard to believe the Jags beat Pittsburgh 30-9, during the season. Just can't see that happening again next week. Jags will have to play way better if they even want a chance of beating the Steelers

Game 5 was a long time ago. The Browns almost got Pittspuke in game one, too.

I guess Jacksonville and Buffalo's "stout defenses" had nothing to do with the lack of a passing game.

5 interceptions and at least 17 of 30 points because of turnovers. Outside of Fournettes long TD run I don't remember Jags offense doing much. If Ben can protect the ball (hopefully hes learned that lesson?) Steelers should win. They must stop the run like the Bills did today. Bortles can't pass a lick. 10 points ain't going to get it done next week.

I'd say 20-13 Steelers.

what were Bortles stats? like 90 yards on 23 attempts?

i think i read that the last time a QB won a playoff game with those kind of stats was Steve McNair vs who? the Bills.

wow.

They did. It was a classic case of two very average (I'm being kind) QB's with much below average Wide receivers going up against two solid defenses. Both teams had decent RB's but a good defense can usually shut down one dimensional teams. I did think the Bills did a much better job of shutting down Fournette then the Jags did shutting down a banged up McCoy. This bodes well for the Steelers to be able to run the ball next week.

I think Pitt wins this one 23 - 10.

To be fair though he had nearly 100 yards rushing and his runs in the 2nd half beat the Bills.
