I think the CCC needs to rid themselves of Bradford and Miss Valley. Nether one is a growing and positive addition to the league. Imagine the CCC with Lehman and TC added. FL, Covington, Miami East and Bethel are all going to be competitive. TCN here and there in Football.

MV and Bradford need to move to another small school conference like what Lehman is currently in.

The MAC NOT having football helps those schools field large teams. That helps them a ton, but the culture there and the work-ethic of those kids is amazing.
Fyi - those are TC & Lehman's CB numbers. Their actual enrollment figures are less. Like 100 for TC and 80 Lehman.

Both TC and Lehman would enhance the league. Makes too much sense. Therefore, it won't happen.

Parkway has as many boys as most other MAC programs but clearly as the lone protestant based community does not get the same support for their football program.

Mississinawa and Bradford are both plagued with low expectations and a general lack of urgency to change the outcome of their football programs. They have that right, and are both great communities to raise a family.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think New Bremen is also majority protestant as is New Knoxville.

With 2 a days starting today, should we hear soon if Bradford has enough kids to field a program? Like stated earlier, I hope for the kids sake that they do have enough interest.

Someone stated earlier that they have 21 boys out for football this year. That's not a lot but barring injuries and kids quitting, they will have enough to have a team.

If they don't, I hope the kids that want to play are allowed to transfer to another school without penalty or at least be allowed to join another team without penalty. I'm not familiar on how the transfer rule is in that situation.

Bethel over TCN and Arcanum is Bold but Trail over Arcanum is insane. Other than that I can see that playing out.

Arcanum is very very young, probably a year or two away from being good! I would say 3-7 or 4-6 or so this year!

Fort Loramie 10-0 8-0 Top 8 team in the State D7
Miami East 8-2 7-1 Great team 1st round out
Tri-County North 8-2 6-2 I think they'll beat Brookville and Covington playoff
Ansonia 7-3 6-2 Playoff 1st round out
Arcanum 6-4 5-3 Hard hitting team just missed the playoff watch out
Covington 5-5 5-3 Tough schedule will hurt them

Bethel 5-5 3-5 CCC is tough this year and they find out the hard way
Twin Valley South 4-6 3-5 They just beat the bad teams

National Trail 3-7 2-6 See TVS
Tri-Village 3-7 2-6 Still new but better than below
Bradford 1-9 1-7 Get it together
Mississinawa Valley 0-10 0-8 Same as Bradford

If it plays out this way it gets 4 teams to the playoffs and could knock out a MAC team in D6. FL could win state in a very weak D7. ME could make some noise in D5. TCN and Ansonia most likely will be 1 and done in the playoff depending on who they draw. Covington's schedule is very tough for an unknown team but it is Covington and you can never count them out.

Fort Loramie was outscored 60-0 against Minster's starters last year. What makes you think they will pull the shocker over the reigning state champion?

Minster lost a lot while FL brings back almost everything.

I like Ft Loramie to win CCC, but Minster has little brothers and cousins of last year's team, I would go with Minster. Laramie does not face competition comparable to Minster.

the other FORT lost some pretty good seniors from last year, but you are right the Skins do bring back some athletes, should be a great atmosphere that first Friday of the football season>>>

My guess is GI Joe sized versions of kids that graduated. But that would be daft, you can't even find uniforms that would fit them.

Any word on Bradford?

I really hope you're right and that Loramie beats Minster but I don't see any reason FL would be able to suddenly pull the rug out from under a team that has owned them the past 5 years.

I mean it's the MAC. Schools up in Mercer County tend to reload with athletes very similar to what they graduate out. The cousins part insinuates genetic material that is consistent and predictable.

It's like the farmer who sells yearling stock from his genetic pool of outstanding stock, just because he had an outstanding selection to purchase last year does not mean the same parent stock will not present another outstanding selection to purchase this year. The genetic pool insures quality replacements.

Both TC and Lehman would enhance the league. Makes too much sense. Therefore, it won't happen.
Those were the numbers on the OHSAA site.

Yes. Those are the CB numbers on the OHSAA website. Troy Christian has base enrollment of 102 boys and a CB number of 36 which comes to 138.

Lehman has base enrollment of 82 boys and a CB number of 19 which comes to 101.

The CB number isn't actually the number of kids in the school.

I was told that MV is down to 14 and not sure on Bradford. But word is both schools will not be fielding teams this year. Bradford will be kicked out of the CCC in all sports as well as it's there 2nd time doing this in 5 years. I was told by an official but nothing has been set in stone as of tonight.

Hopefully everyone can try to find a game. Maybe some of Millersport's opponents can give some CCC teams a call. The travel will suck but that'll be what it is.

I donít know where you get your info but Mississinawa has a team with 20-25 players and I was told by a reliable source that Bradford has about the same. Not 100% on Bradford but I know For a fact Mississinawa has a team!!

I hope your right but I caught word from officials that both teams are in trouble. MV might be able to pick and choose who they play on there schedule and are in better shape then Bradford. Like I said I'm not trying to start rumors but I wouldn't post this if it didn't have truth to it.

Minster is in Auglaize County and Fort Loramie maybe is a 5 min. drive from Minster. The gene pool does not cross the Shelby County line ?
