Probably a reflex to keep Bowen from kneecapping him again.

Just pre-ordered my Chino Hills Lakers #2 jersey.

Boston ought to take Josh Jackson with the #1 pick.

If they really don't want Fultz, they'd probably be better off trading it for Butler or George. Or trade back to #3, get Jackson anyway plus a future Philly 1st.

If I was Danny Ainge(and to be clear, I'm not) - I'd take Fultz and try to move Marcus Smart. Never been a fan of his game.

A back court of Thomas & Fultz with Bradley coming off the bench is a nightmare for the rest of the East assuming Fultz pans out.

100% agree with the first bit.

I don't know much about Fultz's defense, I imagine he isn't a plus defender though. If so, I think they need to keep Smart. But yeah, if they were to get rid of any of their glut of guards Smart is the first to go.

Hoping the Kings package both picks this year and a future unprotected 1st for the #2 pick.

Celtics @ no. 1 is interesting. The strength of the team is the guards and small forwards. Thomas / Bradley / Smart / Rozier / Crowder. They score and REALLY defend well. Fultz and Ball don't fit, in my opinion.

In my opinion, if they can package the #1 pick with a bench player and get Paul George in a sign and trade with the Pacers, that is their best option. George could play the 4 spot on this team. This team would be able to compete (almost) with the Cavs.

Option 2 is take the Tatum kid from Duke. He looks really good and is 6-8. Maybe trade down if you can and take him 3 or 4.

I totally agree with Shaq and Barkley's comments last night. That close out was unnatural and it was a dirty play. That last step to get right under him was completely unnecessary
That's^ exactly right.

Two separate issues. Stop deflecting. It was a dirty play by a dirty player.

Why don't you start a thread about Pop's credibility ?

Aldridge did the exact same thing to Durant last night. Saw the highlight this morning, he took the extra step exactly like Zaza did. Kind of surprised it hasn't been given more attention (although Durant didn't get injured), especially since Pop was so adamant about it being dirty.

Stop being a baby. You cited Pop's opinion like it was gospel, now you are confronted with the fact he defended that very "dirty play" by his own player. It's not my fault you cited a highly biased hypocritical coach with no credibility on the issue.

The Spurs cashed their chips in last night. They must win the next two games or the series is over. They will try to get Kawai healthy and go from there. Just don't think they have enough firepower this year.

Boston looks unprepared to deal with real playoff D.

Cavs are just toying with them.

Inferior team, emotional 7 game series that just got over 2 days ago. Not surprised. I expect other games to be closer though.

It took Boston max effort to get by Washington and a Rondo injury to get by Chicago. Pretty obvious Boston isn't really close to the NBA elite yet.

Smart - 6 points, 6 fouls.

I'm concerned that some of these guys will play like frustrated a-holes.

Jefferson, Derrick Williams, or Dahntay Jones capable of thugging it up ? I think the first dirty play has to be answered immediately.

When their own players even have interviews stating that they are going to try not to be swept, it's pretty obvious, yeah.
