Summit 3
Seven Hills 1

Seven Hills led 1-0 until a little under 20 left in the game when Summit finally started to finish their chances. Good game plan from Seven Hills to counter when they could, but Summit was just too good down the stretch. However, unlike the Summit teams of the last couple years, this team is certainly beatable.

2014 for both. Lost to Grandview Heights in the state semi and lost to Seven Hills and CCD that year (ended up beating both in the tournament).

I agree after watching them play DC tonight. They are still a very good team but they are not invincible like the past couple of years. They are really missing their finishers up top.

I would say that their defense is a little suspect as well other than the 4 year starter at CB. However, they probably have the best midfield in the state which can solve a lot of their problems

Thank you, xscoutsoc. Now remember those games. Definitely some turbulence that year which Summit largely overcame. The state semi defeat was pretty legit. The two local losses were with a very shorthanded squad.

Looks like you're helping the program continue to roll. See you soon!

Yes....their midfield is very strong. I think they scored both goals last night.

Sorry....just saw this. Scd 2- DC 0.

Scd scored late in the first half. Then again off a DK with about 5 mins or so left in 2nd half.
