We clinched already? Did not know that. In that case we should take a knee.

Would be crying shame IF Perry beats Mckinley and sits home at 8-2 but...

All depends on the strength of the teams you beat. Perry dug their own grave before the season even started by scheduling two Canadian teams.

That and region 7 is actually very good this year.

Not yet officially, but yeah we can't fall farther that a 5th seed, and even that is less than a .5% chance.

I'm getting these numbers from fantastic50.net.

Now that is funny

Since I was out of town when the ORIGINAL Banter thread got shut-down - and then mysteriously to my absence Original Banter 2 got shut-down (I didn't even know there was an Original Banter 2 it happened and disappeared so fast) ...

I am glad that we have Replacement Banter 2 presently in place!

And since I am making my recent Confession, I would like to go on the Doctrine and say if I were a Massillon fan.... I would want to beat McKinley 106 to Zero!

I will assume that 50 Our Fathers and 56 Hail Mary's should be appropriate?

The 2 Canada teams are a combined 2-12 then add that to the combined 2-14 with Green and GO and that’s why you need to have at least 2 decent non-league games.
It’s a shame Wakefield will look elsewhere when he has a built in rival right next door, that will play home and home.

The shame is that many refuse to think there's anything to it when Wakefield said there is "too much going on."

Just keep denying.

The shame is that you don't know a damn thing about it and also the fact that Wakefield's beefs are many years old. Time for the old goat to let it go. Same for you.

Great idea for this week's game plan so your boys will be rested up for McKinley

Whatevs. Guess there's "too much going on" to schedule any other halfway decent team either.

Btw you left out his other quote: "it is a no-win situation." That there's loser talk. Sorry Perry fans.

OK.... I have to agree with Tiger Posters again

Perry has a chance to play a HUGE BIG GAME to start the year against Tigers - why not??

Oh and guess what - Perry could compete every year and probably win some!

Example:

CCHS plays Perry every every year - and it is Great Every Every year!!! - and we are D5 playing a D2 - AND OUR KIDS LOVE IT!!!

High Road Point of Interest: At least Perry gets to pick the refs every other year

Maybe ole Wakie should just sack up and say what he wants to say instead of using grey and ambiguous phrases. Fact is, he is tired of losing to Massillon and his way to solve that is to not play them. Real manly.

As usual you wont have any answers because your schtick is to act like you know when clearly you are just a lost old man in his basement with a scary obsession.

Exactly ! So let the schedule 2 Canada teams and then blame his kids when/if they go 8-2 and wont make the playoffs. Then he wonders why kids are constantly leaving there to play for teams that love to throw the ball and play football like its 2018 and not 1984.
Perry has a really talented Sr WR, how many passes has he caught this year ?

Ok what talented Sr WR are you referring to? because I'm at every game and believe me they are average at best, and I'm being very generous with that evaluation

I don't think you should be questioning Wakefields manhood. Odds are he would kick your azz.

It was discussed in depth here when it happened. Take your head out of the sand and search for it. It's a good read.

By the way, what was your username back then?

Well just to be clear on this our WR's have caught 1 maybe 2 TD passes and have dropped 3, not a very good ratio and believe me those 3 drops, their was nobody around them, thats how wide open they were

According to FridayNightOhio.com, Louisville has thrown 18 touchdown passes. The Pukys kid leads the team with 8 TD catches.

To certain posters, please read slowly. Every time Perry plays Mass the boosters are out soliciting . So, Perry may lose players and that hurts the team. Look at GlenOak since playing Mass. They are having some very rough times. . Perry would have beaten Mass the last 3 years if they had played. But, last year they were D1. Do i wish they would have played? no. When/if they make the playoffs and do play each other that is fine. Perry could have played Iggy this year but what would it solve? Most likely lose and have some players get injured. Playing some Canadian teams was a better option. It's not like they didn't research and score over 100 points on them.

So let me get this right. This week you run the ball 5 times and on 2 of them you score TDs and the other 3 you gain nothing should you abandon the run its not a very good ratio? In 8 games you only converted 2 of 5 opportunities for a passing TD. 5 all season! That is why you failed to execute. You can't execute something you don't do. Unfortunately Perry wouldn't know if they had a good receiver or not!

Being old school, I was always taught to say what I mean, not speak in generalities like Wakie does when he discusses why he is afraid to play Massillon.
