Whitmer has AW and Springfield.

Who does CC scrimmage? Where? When?

OT: someone check the medicine cabinent at the local. They're actually writing articles about local teams, local players, NON OSU players and even a few on the LOCAL University!

Maybe I better check MY medicine cabinet. Could be drug induced hallucinations.

I'll never forget the poor kid from Rodgers whose first name was Sh!thead. I assume it was pronounced Shatheed but that's not how it was spelled...

*Yappi won't even let me post the poor kids name.*

Cracks me up every time.

I had to look up Dee Liner Arkansas State. Of course he is a 6'3" 325 lbs Defensive Lineman. Would have been so upset if he was a kicker.

Even better he is from Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Reminds me of the Key & Peele sketch.

Saw some scrimmage highlights of the Irish vs. the preseason #1 D-1 team Pick. Central and the Irish looked very good.

You put VERY in bold? They must of really looked good!!! Lots of issues remain for the Irish and the early season schedule is big boy football, so they better be ready.

Just looked at the roster.

I see McKinstry moved to WR? I thought he was a talented QB. I wonder if he made the move or the coaches moved him? A lot tougher being a QB prospect than a WR prospect. At 6'4 190 he should be a real threat on the edge.

I always love how towns like Fremont have the same names pop up. If Daniel Rusher is related to Patrick it is obvious Patrick scared him away from the dinner table. Heidleburg? Big kid. Shawndre Koch is huge and it seems like he has been around for 6 years. Another Mayle I see, decent sized soph. Ross has some serious size this year. More than I have seen in recent time. Numbers look good as well.

I could care less but Whitmer/Springfield varsity played a live half. That was varsity and the scoreboard read 16-14. A half which saw Whitmer dinged 6 times for 15 yard penalties. A half that saw Springfield score 16 points and only have about 25 yards rushing. That officiating crew is a bunch of dandies. Same crew that botched the Whitmer/CC game two years ago. They should all be shipped to Siberia to call games.

The second half was JV.

both varsity squads played the 1st series in the 2nd half. Whitmer jv scored a TD and Springfield jv moved into field goal range and they (Rhonehouse) kicked a 47 yd FG. Whitmer D line is real good. A couple of the penalties were very questionable (IMO 1 should have been a no call, & 1 could have been called offensive PI), but others were just bad plays. The head slap on the QB, one of the coaches yelling profanities at the refs so loud they could be clearly heard in the home stands, and a couple were legit PI. I'm not sure how much Whitmer was subbing early, I know Springfield used 9-10 different OL and 8 or 9 DB's in the 1st half.

What would everyone think about doing a TRAC/NLL pick-em with 1 NWOAL, 1 SBC, 1 NBC, & 1 TAAC GAME?

As good as they are I think they are probably the 2nd best Dline in NWOhio. CCHS has some real players in their front 7 this year, even with the loss of Hudson.

Always tough to get a gauge on scrimmages, especially from BCSN highlights. It would appear it was 21-0 when SJ scored their 1st TD which would suggest AW thumped the Titans. I did see Schneider played QB which he did not do against Whitmer minus a couple plays. The Generals are a whole different animal with Schneider at QB in my opinion.

It would be nice if AW had a couple fans on Yappi.

I know it is early but it would appear the NLL runs through two teams this year in AW/Springfield. Both coaches have done a tremendous job building programs at those respective schools.

If someone would have told me 10-20-30 years ago that SJ would be getting handled by AW and Perrysburg (last several years in scrimmages) I'd a called you crazy. The Titans have at least two D1 lineman (Beier - Minnesota, Dooley Eastern Michigan) and the best prep linebacker in the state in Gant and AW hangs 21 on them unanswered? Went 6-4 last year with those three kids plus McIntyre (until injured - Northwestern), Anderson (Toledo), Berg (Toledo), Fretti, and Hillshiem? 6 D1 guys and 6-4?

Nope, you left out the good conference. To each their own.

That video of the BG kicker worth watching, even if it is BGstd. Perfectly scripted and framed, someone should get an award. Central Catholic grad that barely got to kick for them was the one who won the scholly.
