Yeah, really smart to cut one of the best LBs in football. He's earned his rep as a thug/dirty player, but today's ejection was an awful officiating mistake.

He also cost the Bengals wins. They did just fine without him after he was tossed today.

He has also had over 350 yards in penalties in less than 67 games and it literally cost him about $15,000 per game.

The line is sub par but come one...Dalton needs to be spoon fed... A HS kid knows better than to throw the ball away on 4th down and game to go.... Dalton struggles understanding down/distance and the on the fly decisions the QB has to make during a game. His ranking was generous at best saying he is the 20th best QB in the league... May not be the last but dam close to it.. Put AJ in to close out the season than put them both up to see what you can get and let the one that can bring the most go...

They were going up vs an avg Offense. Make no mistake, he's a playmaker.

He is a playmaker, but he also negates his good plays with dumb stuff.

He did nothing today to warrant one flag, much less two.

It's not a zero sum trade off. He gets 1 dumb penalty for every 10 amazing plays he makes. It is a shame, bc he could be the BEST in the league if he wasn't a headcase, but you can't pretend he doesn't bring more to the table than he takes away.

I think Burfict is a guy who needs leaders around him, and his troubles would pretty quickly go away. Tough to imagine him behaving the way he does if he were on the Patriots for instance. Aaron Hernandez was a psychopath with homicidal urges and even he managed to keep it together on the field.

Burficts' reputation and history got him ejected yesterday. He"s been labeled and he knows it. He's tried/trying to tone it down at this point it doesn't matter. He is as passionate a player there is in the league to a fault. The Bengals will have to make a decision at seasons end. When they get rid of Lewis will they clean house as well? History has shown the Bengals do not do well at rebuilding.

Just saw the video. Not a Bengal fan but that didn't warrant an ejection. The guy does have issues however and need to get them under control. His actions walking off the field are a case in point.

An official raised his arm to separate Tez from Conklin, and he threw the guy's arm out of the way. Who knows what Tez may have said ? I'm sure it was well-deserved.

Can't really fault anyone but Marvin for that, as of right now.

Agree if he said something to the official that changes things.

Agree totally. He's part of the reason the Bengals have drafted the way they did

Agreed, but I was more referring to Marvin refusing to play him. Given his track record with 1st round rookies, we don't know if it's because Ross is a bust or because Marvin is a dumbazz.

He was ejected for making contact with an official, not for saying something.

He may need to sharpen up and get a little smarter to come up to the level of dumbazz

Saw an article today Marvin went all disappointed-father on Ross to the media because he didn't chase down a Dalton fade last Sunday. Something else seems up here, maybe Lewis didn't like that pick and was overruled?

That's the article I was referring to. It's funny because we've never seen any other WRs give up on a Go route.

The way Marvin has handled Ross has been nothing short of mind blowing. Calling him out, considering other multiple-time offenders on the team, was just laughable. What a total idiot. The guy is a zero.

Shocked they haven’t claimed Maualuga and named captain for tomorrow.

Chances the Bengals win out at home and are in still in play-off contention come Week 17?

The AFC is a pretty big disappointment this year so it's probably higher than you think

Nah, they likely lose to Pittsburgh and then in Minnesota. They lose tiebreakers to Tennessee, Houston and Jacksonville via h2h. Buffalo is going to tank and that's the only tiebreaker the Bengals would win. Realistically the only shot they have is to win out. 7-9 with a middle 1st Round draft pick seems likely. Hopefully it'll be enough to get rid of Marvin.

As of now, they're only 1 game out of the Final Wild Card.

O for the draft. 0 for the playoffs. Marvin is a big fat zero
