4. Hope Erbach, Lebanon

5. Morgan Walsh, West Clermont

6. Carly Spletzer, Lakota East

7. Maddie Ullom, Mason

8. Danielle Horter, Lakota East

9. Brooke Garter, Kings

10. Megan John, Oak Hills

Faith Duncan and Hope Erback are on the list of top girls in Dayton. I can't see why anyone would consider them part of Cincinnati. Lebanon is in a league composed of Dayton area teams and they go to a Dayton district meet.

Here is the true list of the top ten girls in Cincy.

1 SAM BUSH Turpin
2 MADDIE WALKER West Clermont HS
3 HANNAH DOERGER Ursuline Academy
4 MORGAN WALSH West Clermont HS
5 CARLY SPLETZER Lakota East
6 MADDIE ULLOM Mason
7 DANIELLE HORTER Lakota East
8 BROOKE GARTER Kings
9 MEGAN JOHN Oak Hills
10 ELLA LAMBERT Turpin

Just going off what the Enquirer has. Lebanon is a Cincinnati suburb.

Geographically Lebanon is in the same county as Mason. But that is 33 miles from Cincinnati and about a 40 minute drive. 27 miles from Dayton or 34 minute drive. It is in the same boat as Middletown about the same distance from Cincinnati. Hence 'middletown.' Middletown goes to Dayton because Dayton is a smaller city than Cincinnati.

Most people in Lebanon believe they are independent of both cities.

I see they are also ranked 6th for girls in the Cincinnati poll as a team. Having lived in Little Miami, Mason, and Kings I can tell you everyone around here thinks Lebanon is Cincy, and it takes less than 30 minute to drive to Cincy. The Rt. 48 exit is in lebanon but many Kings and most little miami people use the same exit. But whatever. I'm just impressed that a school like Lebanon and West Clermont both have 2 awesome runners each in the top 5.

Let me chime in here given my experiential knowledge of Cincinnati & Dayton district histories.

Lebanon, as well as Middletown & several other schools, have for the past 80 years toggled between Cincinnati & Dayton districts. The fact that the Cincinnati Enquirer considers them a Cincinnati "suburb" is of no consequence. The Dayton Daily News has done the same in the past. As far as I'm concerned, they are NOT suburbs of either. They are their own cities with their own histories. Same goes for Hamilton and several other smaller towns. They are NOT suburbs. District affiliation is a year-to-year decision by the State of Ohio.

Looks like the printed newspaper of Cincinnati and Dayton are just trying to save subscribers. Expand your boundaries and hopefully they will buy your paper.
