Hopefully, it's a quick process...
Maybe Jackson Milton?? Have seen his named around for a few years. Maybe South Range too. I would like to think its a good idea to keep that staff together minus Tsilimos if its possible.
Tsilimos is a class act and should be applauded for a great career. No one had to show him the door, in this day in age when the same guys seem to get endlessly cycled around its nice to see someone who spent most of his career one place and knew when to hang'em up. Good luck to him.

He's in the HS building, but actually is employed by the County Education group.

Great coach out there. Mark A. (Can’t spell his name right now) assion? From Jackson Milton. They had a spilt before the year and Jackson Milton struggled bc of it. Great coach.

You should know me better than that!

Coach T has been an asset to Lisbon's sports community for years.

I made that statement simply because he stepped down once before.

Then again, he is the only one in the county to have a State Title, never seen that from Spaite.

With AJ graduating, no surprise that Ron would step away.
And word in Poland is that Hulea was itching to take a head coaching job long before he became an assistant at Struthers. I knew his time in Struthers was temporary. I think Leetonia gave him an administrative position, too.

Sixteen candidates for the Campbell Memorial job. From what I’m hearing some really good coaches from the area.

In lower tier they should have 4-6 wins without much effort - somebody can go in there and win quick - keep kids there and you can win.

Although not part of the Mahoning Valley, but a member of the EOAC, Toronto's Meek stepped down.

Gotta wonder how much longer Spaite will coach. Maybe he'll step down when the officials start flagging him for being on the field and arguing calls that aren't in his own personal rule book.

LOL!! He's got to be the next one to step down...and I'd expect one more in the EOAC within a year or two.

Job Candidates

Who are some of the local coaches who applied? Campbell can still be good with the right coach who brings in the right schemes.

Maybe some of the alumni from the glory days of the late 80s and early 90s need to move back to town so their kids can carry the torch.

I heard that Shaner and the young Bayuk are the finalists for the Campbell job. Bayuk is riding his daddy's coattails from what he did there

Absolutely, they love the Bayuk name in Campbell, turned that program completely around rather quickly.

I'm rooting for the Hubbard kid.....

Bayuk not a candidate, they reached out and he wasn't interested. Shaner and A coach from a local parochial are finalists I heard. Don't know who or which one

I believe the younger Bayuk rumor...seems to make sense, unless you have some kind of inside source. If you hire Shaner than you deserve what you get...same old recycled candidates. Word is he lost control at Niles, what do you think will happen at Campbell, give me a break.

Agreed, wish Bayuk was a candidate. Think he would be a great hire, but guess he's content at Struthers. As the Struthers guys have always said, he's next in line there.
