I haven't seen anything that says the down should have been replayed. Seems like it was completely legal and smart of the ravens to use the loophole. I was gonna say it would probably be fixed in the offseason, but the ravens did it a few years ago in the super bowl. if they didn't fix it then, why would they now?

As a coach, that is what you tell your players ... hold, it has been that way for as long as I can remember.

There is a rule in place that is supposed to stop plays like these. Because of the egregious nature of the fouls by nearly every member of the Ravens team the penalty yardage should have been marked off and the down replayed with 11 seconds left on the clock. Most of the talking heads don't know about it being a rule which is likely why it hasn't been brought up. Though it is no surprise that the referee didn't make that call, even though a similar play happened a few weeks ago.

So far, no one has even mentioned a rule that you are talking about -- no current or retired official. I don't think any of us have even heard of such a rule.

However, since you clearly know "There is a rule in place", then please fill us in.

Burfict is a great player, but good god he is out of shape lol. He ran less than 40 yards and was spent.

Jeremy Hill 23 carries for 33 yards. Lol. Jubbs is probably mad they gave up so soon on the run game and didn't give it to him 40 times.

I've watched a total of about 5 plays the last 3 weeks. Nice to see the OL still going strong

Heard that Rex Ryan may get the ax today - Steelers seem to be helping him out the door - but RAHRAH has to be very disappointed in the Browns' effort to get Marvin out the door.

I don't really care, to be honest. I was just surprised you made that prior post when it was a one score game so early.

You're trying too hard for a gotcha.

Bell set an all-time rushing record for Bills' opponents today. Rex fired his OC early season (Greg Roman) after a 37-31 loss, but I'm sure his brother Rob is safe.

I think RAHRAH's dream scenario for Rex to take over the Bengals is setting up nicely.

Heard on WLW that the Bengals released Nugent and picked up a stealers waived kicker. Guess all problems have been solved...

Why do Bengals coaches put Eifert in blocking situations? He sucks at it and is a pass catcher. That's what Hewitt is for. Dumb.

I was worried this team was gonna go on a meaningless 5 game win streak to end the year. Thankfully, no

The Bengals will go nowhere with marvelous Marvin on the sidelines. He should be ashamed for accepting his paycheck for impersonating a coach. I'm sure he thinks he works hard and puts in the hours. But from a results perspective minimum wage would be excessive. I suggest all future contracts should be based on playoff wins. He'd get $$$norhing. Exactly what he's worth
