Jr High GMC question

I saw that for the Jr. High GMC some school districts were split while others were combined. Why is that for the league tourney? I saw Oak Hills (guessing Delhi/Bridgetown combo) and they had another team listed as well (Rapid Run) from the same district and Colerain had a team as well as White Oak. Why not compete together like Lakota West/East, and Hamilton did? Mason combines with it's own club team (Pinnacle) for it (at least they did last year). I'm thinking it leaves your team at a disadvantage, but I guess it does get more kids from your district wrestling at the league tourney.

Congrats to Coach Hill and East for winning it by a point over Mason!

Not stirring the pot, just wondering why some school districts combine while others do not or just partially combine like Oak Hills did?

Oak Hills was completely split up until a couple years ago, then they all combined, then they split out again. I think it has more to do with logistics over strategy.
