Ross has a nice squad this year. If they win today at Edgewood I like their chances of staying in the mix for the title. The real question is the post season....gotta make a run this year IMO.

Uh Edgewood kids are not immune to the idiot disease of no problem, I can do what I want. 10 kids suspended for this game and of course the Badin Ham Journal has to run the headline of a no- hitter when it was basically Ross varsity against the Edgewood JV. UH beware of the freshman pitcher Shane Watts who threw 4 very good innings against the Ross varsity. Really a shame these upper-classmen would do this jeopardizing the whole season for stupid stuff. I hope all the kids at Edgewood would learn from this situation . There are consequences for everything you do.Learn from your mistakes

Well hose looks like the Cougars were at full strength today and couldn't stop getting double dipped by the Rams. Still think it's the Rams and Wildcats for the title.

Little Miami is in rebuild mode this year with a lot of Sophomores getting big playing time. They should finish in the middle of the pack and be back strong the next few years.

Harrison wins this by a slight edge over their twin made from the same mold in Ross. Both have similar types of kids on their squads.

The Ross loss the NW makes it tougher for them to win outright, but still think they get a least a share. Their last major challenge (in SWOC play) should be LM today.

Harrison still has NW twice and I think the Knights have proven they have what it takes to pull one out of that series.

I didn't get to see Ross in action this year.
BUT I did watch Harrison play Taylor in the reds show case over the weekend. Harrison keeps it simple. they limit stupid mistake mixed in with a bunch of scrappy good BASEBALL players they are good!

their catcher #22 hit a bomb to LC like 350 + shot and I watched their CF'er track a ball in the LC gap that he caught one step from the warning track like it was nothing.

Granted I don't know what pitching they got after miller (stud) and weber.

Ross beats Little Miami 3-1 with their ace on the mound. They're a favorite for sure to win the swoc at this point.

Ross is the best team in the league. Harrison, can't hit and if their stud is not on the mound they struggle. However, northwest will decide the league champ this year.

I agree with your assessment. Ross has a nice senior class so they are poised to have a nice season. Harrison is solid. The Cougars were pretenders for a bit but NW is really the big question mark in the SWOC. They have 2 pitchers that can keep them in games

Harrison's stud took an L to little Miami yesterday. This means if Ross sweeps talawanda the title is theirs outright
