Right, he made a toothless demand. Thanks for agreeing.
Speaking of toothless how are things in Harrison?

Which is as meaningless as one of your posts
As Yappi pointed out, he's actually doing the players a favor in some circles. Quit your blubbering.

Definitely a POS move. Easy to see how he was a progressive lib until a couple years ago.
|
Now you're just making crap up, but since you mention it, he did say that he only joined the service for the higher education money. I took his statements as viewing his service as something to be endured. Perhaps he was trying to troll about us "paying" his way to school, but he did write it.

He still signed up to serve, you apparently want to draw distinctions about his motivations or the difficulty of his service while having never served a day in your life.

No, dipsh1t, I'm saying that our National Anthem is a tale of the morning after a battle in which the evidence of our flag still flying indicated that we had sustained our presence, and as such is a nod to those that have fought for all of us.
That's why we civilians and soldiers alike have always stood at attention for the anthem and faced the flag. Duh. Those of us that actually understand the endeavor are offended by the self-absorbed and semi-informed that think their cause merits stepping on this tradition. F_ them.
You apparently are a dimwit with quite an imagination, given that you are so certain that I'm saying something that hadn't even crossed my mind.

So Trump made a meaningless tweet in your opinion, yet you are getting all misty over the anthem and denigrating a vets service which allowed you to homeschool your kids. Got it.

I'm glad.
I'm sure it was a complex decision, with much to weigh. I'm glad that you made it through your time unscathed. Thank you for your service, you little putz.

No, you clearly just posted a paragraph outlining how ronnie only signed up for the higher education money, which evidently draws a distinction in the merits of his service in your mind.

Except two people who actually served their country have expressed that they're not offended in this thread. I guess they don't properly understand it like you(a person who never served and was a flaming progressive lib until 18 months ago) do.

You're pulling that pot shot your fantasy accusations inspired out of the context of 10 or so previous posts.

An open letter from American military veterans in support of Colin Kaepernick
Quote:
U.S. Army veteran Richard Allen Smith felt like he was walking with a rock in his shoe all day. In the aftermath of Colin Kaepernick’s protest of the national anthem, Smith heard a lot about how he had been disrespected by what the San Francisco 49ers quarterback had done and said from a lot of folks who never served in the armed forces.
|
Quote:
Being used wasn’t a new feeling. Smith said politicians and corporations often use the military and its servicemen and women for promotion. That leaves some veterans, like Smith, feeling like props for people who haven’t made the sacrifice, but want to cloak themselves in their credibility.
|
Basically confirming that people like weirdo are pieces of sh!t.

Question...It is several months away, but what is the over/under that the puppies at the Puppy Bowl will kneel during the Anthem? Or will they remain in their kennel until its compete?

I’m a U.S. military veteran and sitting for the National Anthem is the most American thing ever
Quote:
When I took the oath that every military service member takes upon enlistment, I did not swear to “protect and defend” the national anthem or the flag or the Statue of Liberty, long may she stand.
No, I swore to uphold the U.S. Constitution which was the first official government documents in the world to recognize that the people had a right to say whatever kind of brilliant, imaginative, funny, offensive, or angry they wanted to. It is no accident that the first rights of the people stated in the Constitution is that they elect their own leaders, who can’t do anything to them for expressing their mind.
