Stark County Baseball 2017
Since OFFICIAL practice starts Monday the 20th of Feb, I guess it's ok to start talking baseball in Stark County, right?
The obvious choice is Jackson in D1, they seem to be loaded again and primed for another run. Could someone fill us in on the projected staff that has maybe the best catcher in Ohio with Dingler (Ohio St Commit) behind the dish.
We know though that any given day the ball bounces funny so what are the surprise teams, the favorites ??
Perry seems to have some young pitching depth with three Sophomore right handed pitchers that can throw the ball well, one has been offered and verbally committed to University of Cincinnati already.
Massillon has two lefties that are supposed to be really good, One a Sophomore the other a freshman, along with an experienced right hander in Blankenship.
Please fill us in with what everyone is hearing around Stark County.....Go

Traditionally so many fine teams and players in the Fed. Hard to pick just one, but obviously Jackson is pre season favorite. I like Hoover's talent also. CCC also always a great team in Stark year in and year out. But right now, looks like Jackson and everybody else.

Gamble has a great thing going right now at Jackson with a lot of talent coming up too.
Heck any School that can Field two varsity teams is pretty special, lol.

Green has some pitching this year. They may be a top team.
Jackson has some very good arms and young arms that will be effective right away
GlenOak should be on rise with some good players on roster and a new coach with energy.
Lake has some young arms that could do some damage
North Canton will be a coin flip. They have potential but may not have the horses on the mound. Does anyone know if Binnie will be able to throw this year?
When it is all said and done pitching is going to matter for alot of teams.
Good Luck with all high school teams this week as they make their roster selections and start the road to Columbus.

Green has talent but they will have to overcome their talentless head coach.

All FED games still on today?
Looks like it will be cold and windy, but no rain.
Seems like the game to watch today is Jackson at home vs Hoover. Any details on pitching match up? Hoover has played 3 bad teams, while Jackson on the other hand has had some pretty good competition already. I think that would benefit Jackson. Thoughts?

Fox for Hoover and I am not sure for Jackson as they have just recently got some of their top guys back from basketball. Should be a good one either way. What are the other match ups this week?

After sweeping Hoover, it looks like Jackson again will be the overwhelming favorite. Any other contenders?

Start of new week and nice weather. Hopefully some baseball will be played. What are some games this week?
It sure does look like Jackson will run away with the FED. I see Hoover lost to Hiland on Saturday and got shut out by Jackson a few days before. What is going on over there?
Going to be interesting who will be next in FED league. Green, Lake, GO,
