So much for staying in the shadows.

I have seen him on video. I said he reminds me of Tavon Austin at the same age. I saw Austin play several times in high school and against my kids when they played at Gilman. This Wright kid is good. The small frame comment was from an actual college scout and coach and not me. I will trust his assessment. He said if he does not bulk up there will be concerns about how much punishment he could take. He may have to make the switch to WR and be a returner. If you are good enough to get the looks now that is saying something. He will only get better but maybe not bigger. Austin was a RB in high school too.

Ethan Wright is a great HS player. But Tavon Austin? Cmon man. There are plenty of kids like Wright all around the country. Not to mention Ethan looks like he's 6' and Tavon is 5'8

I knew I could get you back on!! No seriously. Since Tavon is only listed at 5'9 and is really 5"7" and Ethan is maybe a little over 6' they couldn't be the same size in high school. I've seen him in real life, he plays nothing like Tavon Austin. Robert Smith is the closest comparison I can think of. Keep believing that and that NW and Orville will dominate the PAC. Your entertainment value is awesome. No one can rile up Panther nation like you.

The college scout must be from Earlham.

Why would you punch down on someone in that situation? It's obvious he's punching the ball.

Just to add my two cents, I was working in Baltimore, Maryland back in the early 2000's and saw Tavon Austin play in high school over the course of three years, too. I've also seen Ethan Wright play. Austin and Wright have similar body types, though Wright is taller. Austin is faster. Austin avoided contact and almost never took a hit unless he had to. Wright is not afraid to get physical and will initiate contact. Both display an elusiveness that can't be coached.

I glad we've established that Manchester had no fault in this game what so ever

You are blind. He didn't punch down. It was a swing, a round house swing with a piece of cloth, no attempt to punch out the ball.

Seriously? Roundhouse? I'm not going to change your mind, so believe what you want.

Congratulations to Fairless 8th grade boys football team going 8-0 and winning PAC 7. If only we can keep them on the football field into highschool, 7 of the starters also run crosscountry and they won PAC 7 last week in that also.

Wow. Unbelievable numbers. No losing seasons in 46 years at Manchester. Where is the current #2 coach on the list? Not sure we will ever see this broken again.

CVCA- Dry field CVCA may have too much team speed for Manchester. Should be high scoring game. Hard to win down there.

Orville- Triway decimated by injuries to key players. Roll the basketballs out. Orville young backs may have huge games. Triway has no one left that can run with them.

Fairless- Mustangs need another few plays beside QB left, QB right, QB up the middle.

Loudenville- they get off the snide this week. They can pass the ball and NW can't stop the pass.

and to think the league has been around for 27 years or so and Manchester without a losing season was going to try and bolt for lesser competition with their exploration of the PTC. smh
