I'd like to see him go to a team where he can be a true number 1, like Orlando or Brooklyn. He can play 40 minutes a game until he breaks down like the gimp he is, a quarter of the way into the season, and be on one of the few teams that doesn't qualify for the playoffs.

I'm curious at what could have gone so wrong in 2 months (besides losing a championship) that would have led to this point. After the Eastern Conference Finals, he raved about LeBron and their flourishing personal relationship, so unless something changed on that front, it seems like all Kyrie "selfishly" needs is to be THE man of a team. Thanks to Super Friend teams of today, the team he potentially joins to fill that need won't be anywhere near the championship caliber squad he's currently on. Whatever team the Cavs trade him to, they won't be competing for a championship this coming season so why wouldn't he wait it out at least a year (where he'll probably be back in the Finals anyway) and see if LeBron bolts afterwards to ask for a trade?

It's obviously a big headache for the Cavs now, so I don't expect to see Kyrie in a Cavs uniform come October.

What about a three team deal in which somehow the Cavs turn Kyrie into Melo and Ben Simmons?

So I was joking about this before, but seriously, at this point you have to move Lebron & Love right? Just go full 76ers rebuild?

What's the point in hanging on to Lebron for a year so you can lose in the conference finals when you could move all 3 and get back some insane accumulation of draft picks and young assets?

Dan Gilbert being a complete fu** up? Lebron letting Kyrie know he was going to LA after this year? Realizing living in Cleveland sucks?

Kyrie, through his agent (probably the same guy spreading the rumor) will now deny it all.

Seems odd to sandwich speculation between two truths, but in spite of those truths, the team he's on is really the only chance he's got at going back to the Finals this coming season.

Lmao RIP the Cavs. Never ever going to be relevant again unless they tank and get Lamelo Ball in 3 years.

You'll literally be able to sign up to be an Eastern All-Star on the NBA's website soon.

No surprise, it's a dysfunctional organization (owner) that wouldn't know what to do with a lottery ticket

Dan Gilbert's having a peachy off-season. Not good his highpoint since the NBA season ended was going to the White House with the CUBS.

Cavs should forget anything the players are saying and go for their last chance at a championship next year and then let the fire sale start.

In this new era in the NBA, the Cavs will never be relevant again unless they are lucky enough to get the next Jordan or Lebron.

He was already there. It's a busy place, you know. He did not "go to the White House with the CUBS".

This is basically Kyrie telling LeBron, "f__ you", and telling Gilbert, "You chose LeBron. Enjoy it.".

Can't blame him, from a selfish perspective. LeBron's personal trajectory is likely to leave Kyrie on a bad team in the prime of his career if he stands pat.

at those blaming Gilbert for this. Based on the reports, Kyrie wants to be the top dog. He doesn't want to ride LBJ's coat tails anymore. Wouldn't any one of you choose LeBron over Kyrie? I'm not a LeBron fan and that's still a no brainer.

And who/what are they trading for those two? I could see them get one of those, most likely Melo. Not sure the Sixers give up Simmons so easily.

Here's the Cavs move, Kyrie for Lonzo Ball.

Some people are pretty gullible. They buy what media personalities are saying when they only say it out of hack journalism to gin up a heel or to suck up to players and get closer for exclusive info. The guy has been the best owner in Cleveland sports in some time.

The fragile Kyrie is pretty likely to turn into DRose 2.0 if he is the focus on any team. The Answer, Part II, is the best case scenario. It will be a 2nd round exit team, most likely.

Kind of funny that both LeBron and KLove are business as usual and couldn't care less. Kyrie is making a huge mistake, and he should have left the "I don't want to play with LeBron" out. First, it makes you sound stupid. Second, why alienate yourself, and third, half the reason Kyrie is so good is because of LeBron

Its hard to blame anyone for wanting to get out of Cleveland. Perfectly reasonable perspective.
