Conference Winners..

Each conference has now played a few games...

Thoughts? Predictions?

GGCL and GMC to me are a coin flip. GMC has 6 teams who could win this year. GGCL has about 3-4 who can win.

Who wins the major Cincy conferences?
GMC/ECC/GGCL/SWOC/MVC

GMC:
Fairfield 3-0
Sycamore 2-0
Mason 1-0-1
East 1-1
Oak Hills 1-1
West 0-0-2

ECC:
Loveland Wins-- is there even a debate?

GGCL:
Ursuline 1-0
McAuley 1-0
Ursula 1-0
MND 0-1
Mercy 0-1
Seton 0-1

SWOC:
Ross 3-0
Little Miami 2-0
Northwest 1-0
Harrison 2-1

MVC:
Summit -debate?

GCL Coed:
Badin or McNicholas

GCL Coed looks to be Alter at the moment (undefeated State Champs). If you are talking GCL-Coed Central then likely McNick.

GMC:
Crapshoot of the teams listed. Could be a 2-3 way tie with teams with a loss and a draw or 2-3 draws. Nobody is running the table at 9-0. I think everyones gonna beat everyone up. East, West, Sycamore, Fairfield, Mason, Oak Hills are going to draw, and beat one another. Hamilton is the wildcard in terms of who will they end up beating or drawing to play as spoilers.

GGCL= Ursula, best team, starting to play well. I see them running the table in the GGCL.

ECC = Loveland could still lose and win the conference, but that is not happening.

Swoc = Ill say Little Miami with the title again. Ross and Harrison a little down, LM still has Kiper tearing the league up.

GCL COED division with McNick or Badin.. Im going with Badin this year. Mcnick a little down.

Another week of conferences shaping up..

GMC w/tough opponents left:
GMC Will once again come down to the last game, most likely. Winner could be 8-1, 7-0-2, or 7-1-1 with a few teams sharing.

Fairfield 5-0 (Mason, OHHS, West, East)
Mason 2-0-1 (Fairfield, Sycamore. Hamilton)
Sycamore 3-1 (Mason, OHHS, West, East)
Oak Hills 3-1 (Fairfield, Sycamore, West, East)
Lakota West 2-0-2 (Fairfield, Sycamore, Oak Hills, East)
Lakota East 2-2 (Fairfield, West, Oak Hills)

ECC:
Unless Lovelands bus breaks down and they dont show up to 1-2 ECC games, they are the champs.

GGCL:

St. Ursula 3-0 (MND, McAuley)
MND: 2-1 (Ursula, Ursuline)
Ursuline 1-1 (MND, McAuley)
McAuley 1-1 (Ursuline, Mercy, Ursula)

COnference is still up for grabs, but I see St. Ursula going 5-0.

GGCL Central:
Badin 3-0
McNick 3-0

- The 2 play one another Oct 11. I think Badin gets them this year, and wins their division.

GWOC:
National East - Creek 5-0-1 (Centerville still to play)
National West - Springboro 4-0-1 (Lebanon still to play)

Big games this week.

Tuesday:
Fairfield at Oak Hills
Mason at Sycamore

THese 4 are top of the table.

Wednesday:
Ursula at MND
- Ursula is undefeated and MND has one loss. Could make things interesting if MND wins.

Of course it's easier with about 2 weeks to go....

GMC- The field has narrowed. Fairfield should win it, but don't count out East, West and Sycamore. Don't count out those 4 teams and Mason as tourney time nears. Oak Hills is in most of their games but lost too much from last season.

ECC-Loveland of course, West Clermont making some noice with the win over Fairfield. Tourney time don't count out Turpin, they are always tough.

GGCL- St. Ursula should win it, Ursuline playing some good soccer. MND has had some disappointing games. McAuley has some good wins, but loses to Mercy. When those 2 schools merge, they will be tough. Tough league to play in, those teams had some tough out of conference games as well.

GCL Coed- North-Alter
Central- Could come down to the last game of the season between McNick and Badin.

CHL-Indian Hill. Nice to see Taylor contending with the tie with Mariemont. Madeira, Mariemont both will be tough opponents in the tournament. Drop off for Wyoming this year.

MVC- Summit always tough especially with RA. CCD right behind them. CHCA behind them but most of their wins have come over lesser opponents.

GWOC-NATIONAL EAST- Beavercreek, Centerville right behind and they play each other on the last day of the season.
NATIONAL WEST- Springboro. Another big tourney run?

Bottom line, who's schedules have prepared them for a long tournament run? Injuries at this time of the season are critical. Has anyone been hurt by the DA? Should be fun to watch!

But agree with all of the above.
