Sounds reasonable other than I will continue to be a quasi-homer and pick St. Paul for Region 26.

St. Paul is certainly a perennial power. I could see that.

25: Lucas
26: McComb
27: Shadyside
28: The winner of Marion Local and Fort Loramie. As of right now I'd go with Loramie.

These are my best guesses at each of the regions, eight-deep. I by no means claim to be an expert, but through some combination of research, mostly prior knowledge and my gut feeling, Iíve taken 30 minutes to put together as good of a prediction across the four regions as possible. Not at all perfect, but I thought they were worth sharing.

Region 25:
(1) Lucas d. (8) STA
(2) Warren JFK d. (7) Danville
(3) Independence d. (6) VCS
(4) Cuyahoga Hts d. (5) McDonald

Lucas d. Cuyahoga Hts / Warren JFK d. Independence -> Lucas d. Warren JFK

Region 26:
(1) McComb d. (8) SMCC
(2) Edgerton d. (7) Arlington
(3) Crestview d. (6) Calvert
(5) Pandora-Gilboa d. (4) Mohawk

McComb d. P-G / Edgerton d. Crestview -> McComb d. Edgerton

Region 27:
(1) Harvest Prep d. (8) Green
(2) Shadyside d. (7) Notre Dame
(6) Berne Union d. (3) Waterford
(4) Fisher Cath d. (5) Newark Catholic

Harvest Prep d. Fisher / Shadyside d. Berne Union -> Harvest Prep d. Shadyside

Region 28:

(1) MSML d. (8) Twin Valley South
(2) Ft. Loramie d. (7) Riverside
(6) Ansonia d. (3) MVCA
(4) DSJ d. (5) New Bremen

MSML d. DSJ / FL d. Ansonia -> MSML d. FL

Good luck, all ó and go Irish! See you in Lancaster on a 45 degree Friday, October evening, dnis30.

I'd be surprised if Delphos St Johns makes the playoffs. I am glad that you put New Bremen though. They've been slowly building something they can be proud of. They also return their QB and Running Back and will most likely have roster #'s in the 50's. There will be no sleeping on the New Bremen Cardinals.

Now, this is interesting; St. Paul not even making postseason basically in favor of Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic?

Whoops! Yeah, that was bad. NSP will definitely make playoffs before SMCC. Not as familiar with western / NW Ohio regions, so although I had NSP on my mind I just didnít thread them through into the top eight fold for some reason.

lost 17 seniors.....not a lot of Seniors out, underclassmen will be the key for the Cards. Not sure what the Jays have coming back, but I don't think they have more then 8 seniors out....

Will they even have 30 players this year? I'm genuinely asking. DSJ worries me with only 71 boys in grades 9-11. Heck earlier in this decade and last DSJ probably had 71 on the roster.

TVS will be lucky to win a game let alone make the playoffs in r28. Ansonia could sneak in but they lost a big senior class from a small team. And I just don't see 3 MAC teams in r28 being in when you still have Coldwater FR Anna St Henry and Versailles sniffing the playoffs. 3 maybe 4 MAC schools will make it in and I just don't see how 3 can make it in, I think it will be hard for 2.

Agreed. I am from TVS and I laughed when I saw that. 4-6 is the absolute best record we can have next season.

I didn't mean that as a mockery of your picks. I apologize about that. I would say I don't know enough about all Regions to make the picks. But for Region 28 I'd guess...

1) Marion Local vs. 8) Ansonia
2) Fort Loramie vs. 7) Riverside
3) MCVA vs. 6) DSJ
4) New Breman vs. 5) Lehman Catholic

Marion Local defeating Fort Loramie to win the Region.

For Fisher Catholic, that would mean that in the regular season, they would have played playoff teams Lucas, Berne Union, and Portsmouth Notre Dame in D7 not mention Troy Christian, Crestline, Bishop Rosecrans and Worthington Christian. That is a tough schedule with just those 7 games alone.
By the way I do not see Harvest Prep as a number 1 seed as they have a much tougher schedule being in the MSL Ohio this year and playing the likes of Eastmoor, Grandview Heights, what should be a really good Whitehall as well as Columbus Academy. I see Harvest as a 3 or 4 seed with Shadyside as the 1 seed in region 27. I could also see Waterford as a potential 1 seed as well.

PND wasnít a playoff team, but TCC was. I donít foresee their first three games being as tough as you think. Rosecrans again has numbers issues, although still will be a four quarter game. They get WC and Berne at home, who graduates their QB and stud RB. Troy Christian is expected to be tough, but new coach and they get them in week 10 at home. I expect Lucas to likely be a loss, but weíll see.

This yearís team has got what it takes to make it back. And those who put the schedule together believe so, too.

Lucas played both TC and Waterford, beating both. TC is the better of the two. Waterford lost a LOT to graduation. Their starting QB and their stud RB, gone. They weren't that great with them TBH.

If the regions hadn't shifted I think Loramie would have been the team to beat in R28 (not Minster) but man oh man... MSML is a complete different monster. Look to see how Loramie does the first two weeks of the year. If they are able to go 2-0 against Minster and St Henry or at least look competitive I think they will hold their own against MSML but if its another Minster rout then this region is MSML's for the taking.

I think the Locals lost around 18 starters from last year.... and the skins also lost some dang good football players, could be a interesting region

CW is a lock. However it will be a good year for the Flyers if they go 500.
