Again....Carroll just got moved up to d1 this spring. Their schedule for 2017 was already set. I am sure they will tweak it some going forward. As far as which gcl division they are in for sports isn't the word "co-ed" the hint you are looking for? Not 100% as I don't follow the gcl that closely.

As someone pointed out already it sounds like they had several injuries heading into the alter game and probably the elder game. Coach is experienced and probably resting those players to get healthy for tourney.

They are also pretty young if I remember right. So they will only get better in the future.

They might not make it past districts this year. I don't know. But I do know enough to never count them out and their coach will have them ready.

I agree with you on those facts.....the attempted analogy wasnít so much a home field advantage issue. Guess itís more a geographical advantage to be in Dayton this year. It seems a little unfair that Fairfield who also only lost one game this year has a more difficult path to get out of their sectional group than does Carroll (grouped with Turpin who is the only team to beat them this season). It would be more of a debate if they were in one of the five Cincinnati sectional brackets. Iím thinking theyíd be slotted as #9 in Cincy.

But they are not in Cincy so complaining about that doesn't do any good.
