Big gap between the top 2 and the rest of the list imo. And after #4 you're basically in not edible territory.

I'm assuming this is just National chains. Otherwise, Swenson's is #1

I would reverse 1 and 2, I think that burger wise In-N-Out has a better product but both are light years ahead of the others. Also I believe Smashburger is one of the most overrated fast casual chains and being ranked below McD's says a lot about their product.

I don't get the Five Guys thing.

If all 10 were in a row, I'm going to Wendy's.

I'm curious as to why Red Robbin didn't make the list? They have amazing burgers & fries. Is it considered a more formal restaurant and not eligible for the list?

BTW, while 5 Guys has very good burgers every time I've eaten there my heart starts screaming at me to "stop, you're killing me".

I agree. I ate at 5 in Goodyear, when down for spring training. It was good, but not as good as In and Out. Has Steak and Shake gone down hill ? Ate at 1 in Battle Creek about 15 years ago, and it was very good. Everyone has a local place that is their #1, and the same holds true here. McD should not make any TOP list, their dried out product tastes like a block of salt.

Me, either. They're okay, they just overwhelm you with huge portions and cholesterol. The fries are, well, fries - just put in cup like you get at the fair with a bottle of vinegar to squirt on them.

Steak n Shake is pretty good because of their $4 meals. You can get a tasty flavor combination without bursting your waistline.

All the others I'm sure are decent. To be honest, the absolute best hamburger I've had has been the buffalo burgers at Ted Turner's Montana Grill.

Anybody ever go to a Graffiti Burger? Used to be one in Grandview, but I haven't been there for a few years. Their standard burger had coleslaw on it, which I liked - reminded me of the old Swiss King at Arby's.

Graffiti Burger was great. They had a few locations in Columbus. But unfortunately they went out of business a couple years ago.

Fat Guys is pretty good. You might be stupid.

Red Robins around here seem to have slipped in quality and raised prices. One even closed. They were pretty good for a while there, but I'm not so enthusiastic about heading there these days.

The list is obviously stupid. They might have polled elementary schools.

I eat Shake Shack all the time but I'd say it's pretty overrated. Their basic burger is slightly above average at best. Their fries are no different than frozen ore ida fries.

Checkers/Rally's should be top 5. Most of them are in the hood though so I could see why they're underrated.

Burger King is the worst of all imo. I have no Idea why anyone would go to a Dairy Queen of all places to get food.
