Alot of people loved the first movie. I did not like it and definitely did not want to see the sequel. Not sure how the sequel could be better to watch. My son watched it and liked it and said David Hasselhoff and Stallone had cameos which made me glad I did not go see it.

I gave the first one a 3 maybe, and the sequel is just plain horrible.

I'm curious to hear you're specific reasons.

Unfunny. Boring. Nothing during the film kept my interest one bit.

I thought 1 was a fine flick, funny and very light at times but still a good comic book adaptation, I am hearing that 2 is just the same so it didn't move the ball forward much. It looks like Disney is continuing to move Marvel in the direction of cash cow than producing quality film versions of an endless cannon of solid comic book material. A big test for them will be how Deadpool 2 comes across.

I think it speaks to the subjective nature of movies. I've seen multiple critics reviews call this movie marvel taking the next step in compelling, emotional storytelling.

I gave it a 6/10.

It was a fun summer popcorn movie but it lacked the spark & inventiveness of the first one. Frankly the series looks like it's settled into the bland Marvel universe from which it will birth numerous profitable sequels & spin offs.

Best parts: great special effects, Kurt Russel, baby Groot and Drax telling it like it is.

Weakest parts: Music selection, overly melodramatic scenes between Yondu & Rocket, lame villains and a tired plot.

I disagree

I think the Deadpool movie has nothing to do with the success or storyline of the rest of the Marvel stuff.

He's always existed in a wort of "What If" sort of section of the Marvel print universe. He began as a spider-man knockoff. From the suit to the wise cracks to the breaking of the 4th wall. Of course Rob Liefeld's version of Spider-man would have lots of guns and grenades too
