Wyoming to lose again?

2016 results
1) Wyoming 10-0 (7-0) lost to Alter in rd3
2) Indian Hill 9-1(6-1) Lost to Wyoming in reg season by 7 , lost to alter rd1
3) Mariemont 8-2 (5-2) week schedule kept them from playoffs
4) Maderia 5-5 (3-4)
5) reading 5-5 (3-4)
6) Taylor 3-7 (3-4)
7) deer park 2-8 (1-6)
8) Finneytown 0-10 (0-7)

2017 prediction

1) Wyoming - Prater (or whoever will take take over for marty) will have TOUGH shoes to fill. Marty was 2700 all purpose yards and 41 TD's that's ALOT of production to replace. But as always Wyoming will reload.

2) Indian Hill - Lose Aichholz 2300 all purpose yards and 38 TDS PLUS one of the best rushers in the league Hunter-cure 1200 yard rusher 19 TD. IH is BIG up front and physical. they should push around the bottom 5 teams in the CHL

3) Mariemont - renie as a sophomore threw for 1500 yards and 16 TD and ran for another 500 yards and 9 TD. Sky is the limit for him as a junior. Vianello 550 yards rushing and 9 TD (2 receving TDS). They are gonna move the ball and score that's for sure!

4) Reading - Who will step in for Bridges? 1600 all purpose yards and 23 total TDS. Moore should have a good year carrying the ball 500 yards and 9 TDS and should improve this year. BUT reading brings back 4 of the top Defensive players in the CHL Combs (90 tackles 14.5 sacks) Dryling (74 tackles 3 sacks) Jackson (63 tackles and 3 sacks) AND Ashbrock (60 tackles and 10 sacks)

5) Maderia - Kyle Johnson got the ball some as a junior behind Bellayuto. Maderia doesn't throw a lot which is odd with one of the highest recruited TE in the state. Corn graduates and was most of their ground game 1200 yards and 20 TD. they will have to find Offense from some one?

6) Taylor - Lamb graduates 1050 yards and 9 TDS . I would ASSUME Oak hills transfer Jake Hughes takes over (played some RB last year 400 yards 3 TDS) their leading rusher Workman returns so I would ASSUME he would still be the best option for RB (700 yards 3 TDS) New young HC from elder Mark Miller. Lots of assumptions going to be TOUGH to get back 2014 for the jackets. TOUGH 3 1st games out of conference L'burg , New Richmond and Norwood.

7) Deer park - Buchanan could sling it around a little 1100 yards 10 TDS. Will sophomore mackay take over? Yelling their best Athlete IMO 1500 all purpose yards and 15 TDS graduated as well. Heard should be able to take on the full time reps at RB though.New coach Calvin Johnson hopefully can help right away and change the mind set over there. They have a few winnable games to gain some confidence (Hughes , clark and New Miami)

8) Finneytown - Feaster , their best athlete is just a Junior (600 yards last year 3 TDS) Thomas at QB? just a junior not sure if he took all the snaps last year or not? maybe a W in week one vs Newport again can help.

Prater and Edmonds will supply all the offense that Wyoming needs. Not sure who will play QB for Indian Hill but their defense will be very solid. Mariemont will likely be in some high scoring shootouts. Heard a rumor that Johnson quit at Madeira and won't be playing his senior year. Reading and Taylor will be physical, but not overly talented. DP and Finneytown will graciously provide all other CHL teams with 2 wins.

I think Finneytown could end up with a couple wins. Warmack is a solid coach. Deer Park and Hughes should be a good game to open the season. Two 2-8 teams looking to start the season off with a rare win.

Yes , Wednesday will be cool to see DP and Hughes go at it! We have a coach off our staff from Aiken last year who is the new OC at Hughes so hoping they do well (minus week 9 of course!)

Being a Former CHL athlete I'd LOVE to see the bottom 3-4 schools in the CHL at least compete!
