No one in the media. print or electronic, is talking about anyone other than Murray or Tua.

It doesn't make much sense to me that Tua and Murray are so far ahead of Haskins in the media's eyes. I feel like the margins are razor thin

I think Murray is probably the right choice but I'd be fine with any of the three winning it. They've all been great this year. Tiebreaker for me would be the fact that Haskins and Murray had their best games in the biggest games, whereas Tua had his worst game

If Saban's best bet is to platoon Tua with Hurts in the playoffs to win, with that team around him, it's a joke if he wins over either other player.

Can't believe how short Murray is. Good thing he is playing baseball because I doubt he would get drafted to play QB in NFL at 5' 9''.

I don't even think he is really 5' 9". Maybe it is just him standing next to really tall people that makes me think that. He is really small and I agree he probably doesn't get drafted high enough to want to turn down baseball money. I'd have to think maybe someone takes a chance on him but I would imagine later rounds, if at all

Not quite, theres been a lot of grumblings he may end up changing his mind and he did an interview with Tebow where he flatly said itís something he and his family will talk about after the season. Plus Kiper+McShay both had him taken in the first 2 rounds if he committed to football

They know more than I do but man he is small for an NFL QB.

I don't think Scott Boras would still be his agent if he was going to go to the NFL

I would give it to Murray, due to his dual threat huge numbers, but Haskins piled up massive passing numbers while facing better D's than did Murray. Tua was very good, but not in the class of Haskins or Murray IMO. Of course Tua and Murray will leave Haskins in the dust in the final vote, but Haskins will get his reward in the NFL draft.

Agree. It's quite sad. Tua and Kyler have the edge because their teams are in the final 4 and have had the hype all season. Haskins has had a historic season and would probably win it most years. It's not fair how much he's getting ignored, but I get it.

I predict it to be winner- Murray.. runner up- Tua.. 3rd- Haskins

Gameday just interviewed Tua and Murray by themselves. I’d see that as a slap in the face if I was Haskins.

If the vote is by QBR it will be TM.
If the vote is by stats it will be DH.
If the vote is by bias it will be TT.

My (nice to have) dilemma is I like all 3, as players and as good young men.
I donít want any of the three to experience the Heisman Hex.

Yeah, the national media has humped Tua all year. That isn't just going away.

But two years from now, when Haskins is rounding into form as an NFL QB with 10 years ahead of him, he will have the last laugh. All good.

The playoffs are all that matter now. Players are sitting out bowl games. For a program like Ohio State missing the playoffs is failure. Should a one loss B1G champ with a win over Michigan be deemed a failure? In today’s college football...yes.

Agreed, and I'll still be annoyed that we only got one year out of Haskins and four goddamn years of Barrett

All three were just on at halftime of the Army - Navy game.
Confidant yet humble, funny, enjoying the moment, thoughtful.
A group of wonderful young men.

Haskins looks like an NFL QB stature wise. Murray is small and TT looks small compared to Haskins.

I guess Espin forgot Haskins was one of the finalist for the Heisman : http://www.espn.com/college-football...istoric-battle

Anyone still think Espin does not have a bias against OSU ?

How many national post-season awards has Haskins won? The other two split the good ones, so that's why the comparison.

Congrats to Murray.
Highest QBR wins.
Hopefully he saved his best games for the next two.

Yeah everyone knew coming into tonight it was a 2 horse race for the trophy and the voting showed that. The odds coming into today were -230 Murray, +185 Tua, and +6000 for Haskins.

Tua finishing so far ahead of Haskins is a total farce. The Heisman has really been on a gradual decline over the past decade

No whining, just stating facts, because Espin has a tv contract with the SEC, OSU and BIG network are their main competition.

I think the only bias that exists now is over the whole Zach Smith thing that Urban got dragged into.

Some of our fans still have angst over the sh*t we took back between 2006-2009 for losing in the national championship twice. We were completely justified back then, but now the "bias" we complain about is nonexistent
