It's February 04, 2019

With the Canton City School track record of picking a new Head Coach, I probable will say:

The new Head Football Coach will probably be from the Dayton City Schools,

Canton City Schools really couldn't care less about Canton McKinley Football

This is IUDOGS signing off.

It is what it is. Give it to Bardawil and make Grimsley the assistant head coach or visa versa like they do in college programs. I'm not sure what Bardawil deal is but I just want somebody who will be here for the long hall. So where's this guy from Dunbar?

What a joke. Really only a bunch of assistants and old McKinley jocks. History has shown this is going to end disastrously. Reardon leaves and wants one of his assistants - as usually every leaving head coach wants. They must not want to beat Massillon or Perry nor do well in the playoffs. Stick the fork in McKinley's football program it is almost finished.

I looked it up, the coach at Dunbar is Corey Freed. He did not apply.

From memory (didn't click on link) I recall him as the coach of the Bellevue WA team that ended Concord CA De La Salle's 151 game winning streak. I also recall there was some sort of recruiting "scandal" or such at Bellevue later on. Was very surprised to see his name on the list of McKinley applicants.

FWIW:

Got players from a private academy (charter school in Ohio) to play
on his team.

I believe in Ohio; OHSAA says if your local charter school or home school does
not offer a sport you can play else where.

article says false addresses used - that would be an OHSAA violation.

He might be a good hire ~ fight fire with fire.

Definitely don’t hire Dayton’s Powell either , he was throwing games playing ineligible players . I won’t add the link just google his name it’s there . Badre B is the best choice for the program . Former head coach at 2 different programs , mck & mass o coordinators . Great with parents and really has an explosive offense which the pups displayed.

JJBulldog my friend. All those Championship's. Who would have thought MCKinley would not have had a long long list of legends beating down the door to be the head football coach. Wow, that is a pretty nice list of applicants to choose from. Your friends over in the West are just licking their chops. Open the flood gates M-Town, here come the x'fers.

Jason Hall, you may have a shot at that job....

Badre B was Jason halls o cord , why look past him . It makes sense to hire badre especially with the school system not having jobs . He already works in the system and the kids love him . He’s still lifting n coaching the kids up . Mck had a nice offense , a few adjustments on the d side should have things all good . Any other coach would want to bring a staff and ccs Cant afford it. The same coaches gone end up applying for the new coach . Badres your guy
