Who do you think falls next? Dunbar vs Fenwick should be an interesting game. Also Miamisburg vs Belmont....

D1 and D3 who do you project to make the District games?

Watch Sidney vs. Beavercreek. I am a Sidney fan but Beavercreek's record looks deceiving to me. They have lost a lot of fairly close games to some good teams.

I think there's a fairly good chance that Beavercreek advances past Sidney.

I think Sidney vs Beavercreek will be a close game but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Creek wins tonight. They were swept by Wayne, Springfield, and Fairmont but took Wayne and Fairmont to overtime. They split with Centerville and beat Miamisburg. They lost their opener to Butler by 4-5 points. If Allessandro gets some help I think Sidney will have their hands full tonight. Gonna be a good game IMO

Interesting head-to-head games this week I think Miamisburg/Belmont along with Sidney/Beavercreek and Butler/Fairmont are the most interesting. I believe the two city teams prevail in two close games. Is it four or two District games I'm not sure but in D1-I have Wayne and Springfield, D2-Dunbar,Trotwood, D3-Versailles,Anna, D4-Ft. Loramie,St. Henry.

Pretty good game tonight. Differing styles and personnel, but I thought Sidney and 'Creek were pretty equal after their best guys. As it turned out, Gordon had 27 and Alessandro had 16 I believe. There's your ball game.

Clearly Gordon was the difference and big win for Sidney! What's also crazy is in D3-4, The MBC is representing with 5 teams remaining not including the conference champs the 20-2 Troy Christian!, eliminated in their first game! What a wasted season??? Legacy Christian,Dayton Christian,Emmanuel Christian,Middletown Christian, and Yellow Springs(bye) are all playing in the second round!!!!

It could be an interesting game. Sidney's starting 5 is pretty good and they'll have the best player on the court, but Springfield can go a lot deeper into their bench in a game such as this. I also think Springfield can give them fits with their length and athleticism in the front court. I like Springfield by around 15.

Springfield should definitely be favored. But that's why they play the games.

Certainly a sad end to a very good season for TC. Part of it is D3 vs. D4. Also, you're giving credit to Yellow Springs and DC for making it to the second round when all they did was pick that spot in the brackets. Neither team has played yet.

Good win for Emmanuel last night against a solid FM team. They face a Tri-Village team that knocked off another MBC team Miami Valley last night....that upset Tri County North in the first round.

There have been several upsets in both D3 & D4 so far.

It was my first time seeing the Yellow Jackets last night, and I came away with the impression that they could compete with and possibly beat some of the higher end D1 teams in the region if they can play a relatively clean game and stay out of foul trouble. If Gordon is on and they can keep the starters on the floor, they have a shot against Springfield.

Trotwood can advance without a coach. He isn't doing nothing but letting them run up and down the court.

Lol if he got ejected I figure he felt like letting somebody else stand up on the sidelines while the team cruises to the regional.

Defense is the key IMO. At times this team (and last years) played great defense for 4 quarters. It's how they were able to steal one from Trotwood last season.

They have to stay within striking distance though. If there is a knock on this team, it's that they start rushing things and throwing up bad shots when teams start pulling away. Then it snowballs until it's a 20+ point game.

Disagree. I feel one of Trotwoods great strength is their ability to play disciplined on both side of the ball when needed. That is definitely not a roll the ball out situation as you are implying.

Disappointing yes. Wasted is very harsh statement when you win 20 games and conference champs. I am sure some of the players are devestated, and the coaches also. 20 wins is hard to do regardless.
