I can't dispute that list, although I've never heard of a few of them...Marta, Alyson Felix....

Not sure how Brady comes in at #20 and Manning at #3??

Bonds should be up higher and Brady has to be in the top 5 (and higher than Manning).

Brady 17 spots behind Manning seems odd.

Seems like Mayweather and Bolt should be higher.

But any sort of list comparing athletes across sports is going to be impossible. Overall, not terrible.

A couple adds I could see: swimmers Michael Phelps (top-10 easy) and possibly Katie Ledecky. No hockey players listed above, what about Sidney Crosby?

I’d probably have Tiger, Serena, and Federer top three. After that, Brady and LeBron. No reason Mike Trout even sniffs this list, he’s only played for what, the past 5 years?

If you’re going to include Bonds you have to include A-Rod and Lance Armstrong. Also not having Phelps seems bizarre.

Phelps has to be in Top 10. Brady as well. Manning somewhere in the 20's. Sid Crosby in the 15-20 range not on the list. Too early for Trout. Honestly had never heard of Lauren Jackson before stopping at ESPN for a few minutes last night when they were revealing this list.

Good call on Phelps. No idea how you could leave him out of the top 20.

I stopped at 13. In no particular order:

LeBron
Federer
Nadal
Djokovic
Serena
Tiger
Phelps
Messi
Ronaldo
Pujols
Brady
Mayweather
Sidney Crosby

LeBron and Federer should be 1 and 1a if longevity matters.

Pujols over Trout as the MLB guy. He has over 600 homers over that time and had an incredible 10 year stretch. Screw Bonds.

No way i have Tiger at #1 when he hasn't won a major in how long? 10 years? Bye felicia

Nadal should be on the list ahead of Djokovic. And both along with Federer should be in the top 10.

Phelps for sure in the top 10.

i think the Manning/Brady thing is strictly a shot at Boston people. Brees has been better than manning in my book.

sorenstam, marta, jackson and felix? Pandering.

and driving isn't a sport

ESPN doesn't give a crap about hockey

Ledecky for sure.

Make my list 14

Personally, I would put Usain Bolt #1.

It's an individual sport and you can compare his skill directly against someone from a different era. He is the greatest of all-time.

Jimmy Johnson? Annika Sorenstam? Michael Shumacher?

Bolt as #1 makes sense. No Shaq is a travesty. No Phelps is worse.

Serena Williams should be top #3. People like her, LeBron, and Bolt (and Shaq and Phelps) often get overlooked because they are SO dominant.

Surprised no one has mentioned Kobe. Five titles and passed MJ on the all time scoring list.

He was in the discussion with MJ for about 5 minutes til Lebron came rolling along.

In a way he's already forgotten. No personality will do that to you. See Karl malone.

Serena Williams is the only woman who should be on the list. Outside of tennis, women's sports are mostly a farce. It's hilarious they'd include Lauren Jackson and Alison Felix over Phelps, but then again it's ESPN

I actually watched the reveal for this on Sunday. Lisa Salters and Jeremy Schaap were grilling the guy who made the list pretty hard. His reasoning for not including Phelps was lame.

Ageee on both. The most decorated Olympian of all time, and by a landslide at that. Plus probably the most physically dominant player in NBA history. If he could hit free throws just imagine what he could have been. Has he played with Kobe another 5 years he could have 7 or 8 titles.

I agree with Manning over Brady. Guess I'm in the minority on that one.
