Roethlisberger ? They not only are both willing to gamble, but seem to have a similar level of respect for women....

He does. Not sure about a "bigger Favre"..... I guess he's an inch or two taller and a little reckless.

A little reckless because he trusts him arm. He has great touch on the ball and accuracy.

Saquon Barkley just scored on a 92 yard touchdown run in the Fiesta Bowl.

75% of the people who don't want to draft him number one overall probably can't even walk 92 yards without losing their breathe.

You can't teach speed.

Yeah. I'd go Barkley #1 and Darnold #4

I would still take Darnold if I were the Browns. Dorsey came up in the Packers organization when they drafted Rodgers and groomed him behind Favre. He was with the Chiefs when they drafted Mahomes and groomed him behind Alex Smith. I expect Dorsey...and his new coach...to continue this sensible way to handle the QB position.

If they ended up with the Giants' #2 this year and their second rounder next year, and could take Barkley and Darnold in any order of 2 and 4 after signing Smith or even Bradford, I'd be quite pleased.

Who figures to be #3, and are they looking at someone that would preclude a trade down ?

Or stuff it into a 230 lb package that can catch.

Reminds me of a better Clarrett.

3 to 8 years of glory. Quite a range. Not to the exclusion of a top QB

Colts would be #3 as of today and Houston(so the Browns) would be #4. However, they play on Sunday, so Cleveland fans should be rooting for Indy there, could be the difference between #3 and #8.

And Rosen wants to be a Giant.

Cleveland has the most vibrant Jewish community between NYC and Chicago. Tons of medical brats like himself that he could identify with readily. A thriving arts dynamic. He could be very happy here.

Giants' #2 this year, 2nd rounder next year AND either this year's 4th or next years 3rd for Rosen on our #1 this year. Go Colts!!

Saquon is a weapon. An extremely explosive weapon.

Sign Cousins, Tyrod Taylor or Alex Smith at QB.
Saquon at #1 (plus Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman) gives us three extremely fast players. There isn't an offense in the NFL with that kind of speed.

Take Minkah #4.

Win.

Have to agree about an elite RB elevating an offense. Elliott and Fournette make mediocrities like Dak and Bortles look like Johnny Unitas.

Barkley is not like Fournette and Elliott ... those two backs are power backs with speed ... they gain yards when nothing is there ... Barkley is a speed back ... he takes it to the house when given a crease ... he does not make yards out of nothing ... he is more like a faster version of Duke Johnson ... while I think he is one of the top 5 non QBs in the draft ... l am not sure he will have the same effect as Fournette and Elliott ... his best value is on a passing team ... which fits Huey's offense, but may not be the type of offense the Browns should be running.

my bet the Browns do the following;
1) sign/trade for Tyrod Taylor ... best vet QB that will come relatively cheap
2) draft Josh Allen ... Ben Roethlisberger Jr
3) draft Minkah Fitzpatrick ... might be the best player in the draft
4) sign a veteran FA RB and draft one in round 3 or 4 ... like Barkley but above explains
5) sign a small quick slot WR ... need to get someone who can get open underneath
6) draft/sign a CB ... still need to upgrade this position
7) Hires a pseudo OC ... Huey's ego will not let him really give up the offense

Especially when anyone on this board could run though those holes.....

Hue was dead to me after that one. Crowell or Johnson don't get half the carries they should.

Yeah, I don’t see Barkley as the game breaker obdfgc and crusaders wants him to be, so naturally I hope the Browns draft him.

Hue again screwing up clock management. Why would you call time out after a sack pushes you back to 3rd & 17 from your own 30? Force Pittsburgh to use their last TO or take it to the locker room as a one score game on the road.

Sorry to say that even losing to Indy doesn't elevate Houston to the #3, because Houston had a stronger strength of schedule with the same record.

I just hope Dorsey doesn't blow it this off-season.

The setup is perfect. Some talented young players on roster. Extremely valuable draft picks. Ample cap space.

It is there for the taking.
