I thought that was a legit flagrant BTW. Obviously LBJ played it out a little more than necessary but it was not a basketball move that Chandler made and it obviously gave him a stinger.
Saw this after the MIA-NY game on twitter. I really hate how pussified today's NBA is. It's not just LeBron, but most of these guys are soft as Charmin compared to guys 15-20 years ago.
He definitely overreacted for how "hard" Chandler supposedly hit him. It looked like he just got whiplash. It wasn't "Paul Pierce in a wheelchair" bad, but still excessively over dramatic IMO.
On another note I really like the Heat's chances to advance to the Finals now with Rose's injury. They definitely look to be in the driver's seat in the East now.
D Wade has 19 in the first half, then ends with 25? OK, just as long as Heat win. Thursday night, Madison Square Garden. Yowee!
I don't understand the need to even mention that, but whatever. He obviously took less shots or missed more shots than he did in the first. I'm not sure which, but it happened. It happens with him all the time I fee like, so I'm not sure why you are surprised.
I'm happy though, I took Wade on the over at 22.5 for the night.
Don't bank on that. Miami struggles with Chicago even without Rose. On top of that, the Bulls have had plenty of experience playing without Rose this season.
And let's not forget:
1) Indiana in the next round will be no cakewalk.
2) Boston could definitely beat Chicago in the next round, and the Celtics are experts at dusting off Miami. They are a matchup nightmare for the Heat. In a Celtics-Heat conference finals, I'm definitely going with Boston.
I'll bank on it. Heat will be in the finals. I doubt they win but they will be there.

I was only surprised because it was playoffs. Wade very often lights it up in the first half and then hardly shoots or scores in the 2nd half. As I said, wins are the important factor.
And I believe Knicks will be tougher for Heat now that Amare is out. Mark my words.

No, definitely not a legit flagrant foul. It wasn't even a legit foul. Chandler set a clean pick. It looked so bad because LeBron wasn't expecting it, plus Chandler was bracing himself since LeBron is so big, and--of course--LeBron did a great acting job.
LOL did you even watch the play? I haven't heard anything this absurd since... oh yeah, since you said Artest didn't mean to elbow Harden in the head. Imagine that.

I never said that World Peace didn't mean to do it. I said that I think his explanation is possible. Because I felt that it was plausible, I felt the suspension shouldn't have been as long as it was. As I stated, we only can look at the evidence, which is that he elbowed James Harden.
As for the Chandler pick, I don't think it was a foul. I've seen the same type of play occur many times without a foul being called. However, it usually doesn't involve two players so big.

Never mind....apparently he has a customized mouth guard with "XVI" on it....apparently that's the number of postseason wins you need for an nba championship.
