cabezadecaballo will become famous soon enough
The guy wrote over 30 books, some selling many millions of copies, going back to the 50's. A little IBM stock here, a little AT&T there, some Standard Oil and DuPont....... It would not be difficult to become quite wealthy.

He used his personal wealth to bail out Martin Luther King in Birmingham in 1963. That had to be really popular in the early 60's South, huh ?

He was pretty early on standing up against racial segregation, while engaged in an endeavor that revolved around attracting people to himself. Not exactly walking the line in trying to remain popular.

During a 1953 rally in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Graham tore down the ropes that organizers had erected in order to segregate the audience into racial sections. In his memoirs, he recounted that he told two ushers to leave the barriers down "or you can go on and have the revival without me." He warned a white audience, "we have been proud and thought we were better than any other race, any other people. Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to stumble into hell because of our pride."
