As an additional FYI - Reggie lowered his own then Ohio all-time record from 4:13.3 to 4:08.5 in that race, and 9.4 seconds faster than the previous State meet record. The 880 was also an all-time record, and a 2.1 second lowering of the previous State meet record. It was truly an historic double.
